    Great Intro to Ice Cream Making

The best part of this book is the beginning where the author explains the basics to making ice cream. This prepares you for the forthcoming recipes. I’ve been off and on Keto for a few months. I’ve tried to make ice cream and shakes, but they have been barely edible. Now I understand why — lack of proper preparation. I do think I’ll probably need to use more sweetener then the recipes call for. Personally, I’m a fan of granulated Splenda. It’s cheap, sweet, and does not spike my blood sugar. But everyone is different.I knocked off 1 Star for typos. They are not so bad that you can’t use the book.

Ask for ingredients I read about for the first time. The recipes seems to be the same with only changing an ingredient or two. I’ve stopped perusing it when asked for banana flavor instead of real bananas. Better search for recipes with real ingredients on the web.

Poorly written, almost no details are given in the recipes.  Recipe quantities are super inconsistent so you have do a lot of conversions.  Some recipes call for raw eggs, but the book doesn't address safety concerns or how to pasteurize.  Recipes use a wide variety of mostly artificial sweetners which I am not a fan of plus you would have to buy a lot of different products or figure out on your own how to swap one sweetner for another kind.  Quality of the book itself is pretty low as well. Looks like someone printed it very cheaply and self published.  You are better off finding recipes on Pintrest.
