Chew-Lotta Edible Dog Snack, Small (5 Ounce) Bone, 2-Count Small/Medium Bones (Pack Of 5)

My dachshunds looooove these. They are a *terrific* value, so I'm thrilled too! Plus they are mess-free, with no stains, crumbs, or odors. Yes, really!They are eaten in three stages. First my dogs lick them for awhile, all over. Then they sort of just carry them around and gently gnaw on them, softening the otherwise rock-hard biscuit. Finally, they get serious, and actually start chewing hard and slowly eating them. All told, these can last as long as ~48 hours, depending on how long the first two stages last. And my dogs can eat a 12" bully stick in less than half an hour. So these chews are really wonderful!This review is based on the experience of four tweeny dachshunds. Mine are Sophie, 6, and Gillie, a stray we adopted through a dachshund rescue organization, who we estimate to be about 6 or 7. My parents' two are Sadie, 10, and Gussie, a stray picked up right off the road, way out in the country of all places, estimated to be around 8. They are each as unique as can be with adorable personalities and quirks. I live to spoil them.There's only one slight, very slight, issue. Sophie has a particularly cavernous mouth, and sometimes a chunk of biscuit will get stuck in her craw, which she needs me to dig out. This happens only with her out of the four, but you might want to keep an eye on whether it can happen to your guys. It's simple to just stick my finger in her cheek and pop it out, and she indicates when she needs help with a certain mouthing motion. That's the only non-great thing about these chews, and it's not even enough to knock away a star. These are definitely five-star chews in my household!

The media could not be loaded.  This is the one!!! The best treat ever. It lasts long & is full of vitamins. Only two of these per week. I tryed these with two other big dogs that I had & now I am using them for the one dog I currently own. I will use them for every dog that I ever own, no matter the size of the dog. It lasts for a lot longer than any other treats & my big dog is only able to chew off a little at a time. I usually buy them at Walmart, but I've been to 3 different Walmarts & they are "out of stock". I can't find them at any other stores. This is a good buy 5 packages are in this deal. That means 10 snacks total, in this deal & at only 2 per week, these last my four legged baby for 5 weeks. They are made in USA, to be exact Topeka, KS. They have dried chicken as one of the ingredients & my dog loves chicken. First my dog has to lick it to soften it, so this is a treat he really has to take his time eating. Thank you & I will buy again. This is my favorite item to purchase from Amazon & I rarely leave reviews, but this one is actually worth leaving a review for. Definitely 5 plus stars for this item.

These treats are great. I have raised English Mastiffs for fifty-two (52) years now, and from the day I discovered them they have become the favorite treat of every dog I have had with me. In fact, one has to be careful in even uttering the word "Chewlotta" around the house as "my Boys" know exactly where they are kept and the mere sound of the name causes them to run to that area, and to begin barking and complaining if they don't receive one. I also use them as "treats" when in their training phase, the only difference is that when being used as rewards in training I cut the actual Chewlotta bone up into smaller pieces so that the reward function of the entire bone is not diminished, and of course, the cost is mitigated by the simple fact that I get multiple uses out of each package.

My elderly chihuahua is so annoying when I don’t have these bones in the house for him. He LOVES them! I have no idea what is in them that he loves so much. But if he doesn’t get one of these a day he’s unbearable. These keep him busy for hours and hours and make him so happy they are worth the price! By the way, amazon has the best price on these anyway! Never stop selling these, please!

The first time we bought these they were for a different poodle she loved them and would last her for weeks if not longer hence the name hide me bones. So we are now fostering two poodles and thought that this would be a nice treat for them. Something to keep them busy. I think not they chew and forget to hide them for later. Great bone none the less. Hard to find in stores so ordering online gives us a bigger supply of them

I couldn’t tell you about the flavor, I personally haven’t tried them lol.Our 6 month Golden Doodles loves them, she chews for hours on just one.

Our dogs have LOVED these for years, they are getting very hard to find at retail stores now. I hope they don't stop selling them. The prices are pretty decent here on Amazon compared to big box stores (if you have prime)
