So you go to Home Depot, looking for an Azalea to fill in your border, and what they have left at this time of year is tossed into a corner, dry, broken, looking like someone's compost pile for $20-25. Instead, I order from Encore. Their azaleas arrive very quickly. The packaging is great, insuring they arrive in great condition. They arrive in large pots with a large, healthy root ball. The foliage is nicely trimmed, and looks healthy and vibrant. There are tags on each plant (I ordered 3 Azaleas), that identify the variety. They are the picture of health. I am glad I ordered and highly recommend you spend a few bucks more for something good. I planted them right away, watered them. They look great. UPDATE: I ordered from them again, and again, got a quality product that I was able to plant right away, and will be a positive to my garden. Consistency.

These plants have survived the elements and surpassed our expectations completely. They showed up nicely packaged and healthy. We planted two of these in pots out front of our store to brighten things up, and little did we know we would have the weirdest weather over the last 6 months than we've had in years. There was a couple times we thought we were going to lose them, but nope, they powered through! The weather was fine (thank goodness) when we planted them which then turned into multiple 110+ degree days, then transitioning to 25 degree and freezing nights, to then torrential rain and wind storms. Granted, most of the flowers have been knocked off by the rain beating, but they still have new growth and have grown significantly since planting. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

Love them! This is one if not the plant I bought online. I got the package and I didn’t open it right away because I didn’t know what it was. When my husband opened they were still looking great! Will definitely buy from them again! I already got them in the ground. I can’t wait for the Fall.

1. The plant arrived in very poor condition. It looked dried out. Shook the pot and some leaves fell off. The leaves did not look healthy. Some were mottled with dark brown. Quite a few dead branches. 2. Tried to insert a ph/moisture meter into the soil and it would not penetrate to take a reading. 3. There was no planting instructions, only a tag with sales BS. 4. The plant soil bag I purchased locally stated to remove the plant from the pot and loosen soil. I removed the plant and the soil looked like a plastic molding of the inside of the pot. The soil could not be loosened. Placed the plant on the ground and hosed using the "jet" setting. That accomplished very little. Placed the plant in a bucket of water overnight. That also did very little. 5. Off to the dumpster it went.

What I liked about the product was I received a very healthy and blooming azalea plant, beautiful vibrant leaves. I was really surprised and the packaging was well done. I went back for the starburst. Hopefully I will get the same pretty, blooming and healthy plant.

This was my first time ordering a live plant online. It was shipped in an upright container with vents for air, clearly labeled "live plant." It was very healthy when I opened it. I planned it in the ground a couple of days later, and it has accustomed to the soil already, and is thriving!

I could not believe how beautiful these plants were when they arrived. After traveling 5 days from California to New Jersey, I didn't expect they would be in such pristine condition. The azaleas were beautiful - fresh, vibrant, and ready for planting. For less than $20 apiece, they were in better shape than any plants I could have purchased from my local nursery, big box store, etc. The price was great - less than 1/2 what I would have paid locally. Would recommend them to all my friends and family.
