It was actually hard to find one for some reason, and then I stumbled on this. When I found it at the time, it was out of stock, and not prime shipping, but it was free shipping. So, when someone did have it in stock, I jumped and bought it. Waited 2 weeks (long if you're a prime member), and was so happy it fit perfectly. If you have high pressure water going directly at it though, it will move initially, but once you move it back in, it shouldn't move the rest of the time. The water flows nicely and quickly (unless all my hair blocks it), it catches my hair, and prevents my pipes from being clogged. My drain is flush with the tub and is just a big giant hole that allows everything to go down it (like this http://pix.soundwag.com/web/drain.jpg). This sits right on top. There is a slight curve to this, and it sits curve side up. If you have the type of drain that also acts as the stopper and sticks up into the tub (like this http://s2.hubimg.com/u/5464035_f248.jpg), this will not work on that. **Q: what is the diameter?** A: 2.75" **Q: Wondering if I can try for kitchen sink.
