I bought these to use in place of a seam ripper. I have other blades that I’ve paid so much more. I saw someone using these and bought them. They’re nice and sharp and will last me a long time for a dollar each. Be very careful. They are sharp.

The scalpels were all in sterile individual packaging. The only scalpel I used was sharp and great for removing the nucleus of a corn on my foot. The razor itself was smaller than I expected but effective nonetheless. It was a tad flimsy when cutting into the callus but quite good overall. I don’t have any other scalpels to compare it to, but for the price it worked well. If all of the razors are this way then I will buy again in the future.

Perfect for debridement of wounds!

Bought to remove plantar warts off of my child's toe. We did pretreat and freeze them first and we also soaked the foot. Very sharp cut through the dead skin with ease. No pain. Comes in individual sterilized packages so was comfortable using for this treatment. Would be great to use in any medical office for removals, standard 15 blade size. Though be warned you should not be cutting or removing things off your body without a provider's recommendation or instruction. Also watch for signs and symptoms of infection.

I have had trouble scoring sourdough loaves of bread before baking. You do this so the gases inside the bread have a place to escape so the loaf doesn't come out mis-shaped. I have tried razor blades in special cases and feared slicing myself, sharp knives that weren't sharp enough, and even a sharp small scissors. I probably am not making my dough right but being a retired nurse I thought what I needed was a scalpel. I used one of these today and it was the first time my scores actually showed in the crust.😁 The plastic handles are nice and stiff and easy to hold, the blade is sharp and cut the dough easily. I should have paid attention to size of the blade, these are size 15 so they are very small. I should have got size 11 blades. But it worked well today. I washed the used blade and handle in soft soapy water, dried it and put the cover back on the knife. Next time I need it I'll check to make sure it didn't rust but if it did I can discard it in our sharps box we use for home injectable medications.

These sharpness and durability of these scalpels is exactly what I’d hoped they would be. They fit well in the hand and are easy to use due to the ergonomic design.
