I wanted to love the buttons, but quickly realized this 17mm size is just too small. If they are for jeans, then maybe for kids pants or for a back pockets. This size is definitely too small for the waist button, on a regular pair of adult jeans. They appear to be well made, and should be easy to install. Looking at the sharpness and width of the screw part, it might be advisable to iron on or otherwise re-enforce the area of penetration.
