This is my first time ever working with nail foil. The instructions were a little vague, and made it sound like the entire foil needed to stay while I tore off the edges. THIS IS NOT HOW THEY WORK. My first nail came out kind of weird because of this. These are more like temporary tattoo transfers. You peel away the plastic foil, and the design gets left behind. They're pretty awesome! Once I got the hang of it, I had little trouble doing the next two. I left the final two plain to create a bit of accenting. Fixed some gems on, and voila! Very easy, and beautiful results. I just finished my first hand and am excited enough to want to write this review immediately, lol. I haven't even touched up the edges yet. But I hope getting a look at the raw results will help others decide. I am NOT a nail artist, but just do my own nails for fun. So please, don't judge my work on par with professional work. I just want to show that a newbie can do this, too. There's a ton of different patterns to play with, and they all come with enough length to use them about 4x in each roll, if you do every finger on both hands. I'm just using them for accents, so I will probably get a lot more use out of them than that. I can't stop staring as they dry. They are SO gorgeous. I am totally going to be getting more in the future!

I ordered this and was really excited. Couldn't wait to try it. I have some foil glue from a pretty reputable supplier. I was so disappointed. Foil didn't stick well, etc. Read other reviews of people having the same issue. Did some research about foil glues and holy moly I hit the mother load! I bought the Makarrt foil glue and hands down, best foil glue. I will be keeping these foils after all because they work like a charm! The foil glue I mentioned is used with LED/UV lamp. You can buy the glue through Amazon.

I haven't tried these foils yet, so the star rating may vary due to the result. Mainly I was expecting a larger roll. But these are pretty small rolls and not much of it. I guess expecting more for much buck, but the foils does look really pretty as picture. Update: 9/9/19 I finally used the and was impressed with my finish result. I used a gel foil transfer as my glue base and top off with a gel top coat. I am no professional so my cuticle needs work. But no one needs to examine my hand that close up. I like my finish result.

Only the metallic color foils work at all. The others have spotty adhesion. I ended up just gluing the foils to my nails instead.

I find that once you apply the white nail glue like substance and when it goes clear you stick on one of the stickers on your nail and use your blow dryer to heat it up and then let it cool down and then peel it off I find that makes it stick better and then put a clear coat on top

These came without instructions. I even looked up how to use them in youtube and and purchased additional tools and followed the instructions but still didnt work.

These are great once you get it right. It all depends on how wet your polish is when you add foil (Too wet and it dissolves, too dry and it won't stick). Practice makes perfect.

I’ve seen a few videos on Facebook recently with people doing nails using these sorts of foils, I wasn’t sure if I’d be wasting my money but wanted to try it out. There is a bit of a knack to doing it but I have ended up with good results. I like the big selection of designs in this pack, and they are well packed in plastic boxes. I apply an underneath colour, let it go tacky then apply the foil over the top. I always seal with top coat too. Good price for quite a few sets of nails.
