The Complete Book of Vitamin and Mineral Counts: Get the Most from the Food You Eat-with the Vitamin and Mineral Counts You Need to Be Healthy and Live Longer (CTN Food Counts) [Netzer, Corinne T.] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. The Complete Book of Vitamin and Mineral Counts: Get the Most from the Food You Eat-with the Vitamin and Mineral Counts You Need to Be Healthy and Live Longer (CTN Food Counts) Review: The Best there is - For all its annoying traits, such as pages and pages about candy you know you shouldn't eat anyway, obviously empty entries such as orange flavoring, or the need to look up yellow summer squash in three incorrect places til you find it, it stands as the most complete reference book for the foods you eat and the vitamin and mineral benefits they bestow. Review: Excellent resource - I had to really search to find any information on phosphorus for my renal diet (low sodium/potasium/phosphorus) until I found this book. This element is rarely listed on nutrition labels for most foods.

It is only for 8 vitamins/minerals. It is so big because it lists a bunch of food that has those 8.
The description led me to believe this would help you figure out ideal counts for a very large variety of vitamins and minerals. Instead it was for just a handful of vitamins and minerals from every food . So, say how much of those things a tomato would have. And then the next food would be a sun dried tomato. I wish they would have showed a picture of the pages before i bought it. Please see attached picture before buying. Maybe I just misread the description.

Good book
This book contains an amazing amount of data for a subject that is hard to find anywhere else. Looks like it has covered the field thoroughly.

Amazon was wonderful and worked the credit
I purchased this because it was "complete"... The vitamin I was interested in was NOT even listed so I wouldn't call this "complete", I felt that to be misleading. I returned the book, Amazon was wonderful and worked the credit. I am still a happy camper.
