Naturediet - Purely, Complete Wet Food, Salmon & White Fish, 390g (Pack of 18)

Bought for friends burcoat Shar Pei, 12month old suffering skin issues and rashes, sore ears, balding patches on hocks etc. She absolutely loves it and in just 3 weeks she's healthy, fluffy, gained weight as she was a little on thin side and shiny coat. As a consequence I tried my 7 year old staffie on it. She won't touch anything else now, she loves it as well. I also like the easy to open packs, easy to rinse out and put in to recycle bin. Quite strong fishy smell when open but no problems when putting half opened pack in fridge as top of box closes easy and folds over to seal it. Our 2 doggies love it. Can't go back now to other foods. They were both on foods for sensitive stomach but they were more expensive for 250g pack. These are 390g so one box a day with crunchies, half morning half evening meal, is enough to feed my staffie who is 23kg. Works out cheaper for me and bowl licked clean.

The salmon whitefish flavor is the best one. The texture is smooth and wet for the salmon however the lamb flavor has a horrid smell and hard slimy texture which my dogs love but I don't see why haha. The salmon one smells like fish paste you get for humans and good quality especially for the price. I fed raw but if I am going away or run out this is a life saver. We often have dogs overnight last minute notice and they all take well to this food I love the packing you get large portions is small minimal packing. Makes it easy to store and perfect for large dogs.

Non-plastic packaging is very good, but a bit of a faff to open and decant - I should be willing to accept a little extra effort for the eco advantage, so I will carry on. Dogs love it, really love it. It's quite smelly but it's soon gone and you get used to it.

Hate the cartons but unstand better for recycling. Fingers crossed my dog continues to enjoy.

I have two Labrador/Retrievers. Labs eat practically anything (due to a missing gene that tells them that they have had enough to eat). I put this 'stuff' into their bowls. They sniffed it, looked at the contents of each other's bowls, looked at me and walked away. Later, after much encouragement, one of them ate all theirs, the other had a few licks and, again, walked away. Then both dogs threw up - the smell was incredibly nauseating. I checked the consume by date and it is 'good' until next year. I don't know what is in it to make it so smelly and unpalatable,but it has made my dogs ill. I bought three boxes of the stuff after reading some of the comments. I remember one comment said how smelly it was, but I wasn't prepared for this. I had to borrow money to buy alternative food for my dogs. The crap I bought went into the bin. Sixty quid down the drain. AVOID!!!

Nothing to dislike

Smells horrid and just like what they like to Roll around in. But my guys love it, they have clean bowls in minutes, and my boy licks the bowl around the kitchen. Conclusion... I might not like the smell but the dogs go nuts for it. And if they are happy, I'm happy. Even though I gave it a 1 star for smell the dogs give it a 5

Firstly, I love the packaging, very environment friendly and love the easy to open the packaging just using only your hands, no need for scissors or knife etc. well thought out package, only thing is harder to scrap the soft wet food out from the bottom have to use a small silicone spatula. It would be good to have the opening side wards instead on top.This Salmon and White Fish when opened does not smell nice at all and I assumed its just the fish but its not I don't think, it too pungent. I bought it end of last year hoping to introduce it to my dog however, dog one ate only one pack when mixed with existing kibble over couple of days.Tried to give again she didn't like and after smelling it she would walk away. I have so far used 4 packages over course of 6 months and other day tried it again being 5 package mixed with existing kibble she smelled it ate one serving but next day she refused to eat it and I had to throw it way.She likes fish as much as chicken and when I mix very small amounts of human Tuna, Salmon or Cod to her normal kibble she gobbles it up however this wet food has something wrong with the recipe or smell.

Mon chien n'a pas trop aimé. La pâté ressemble un peu à une mousse.Plutôt difficile à manger pour mon chien.
