Will this hold up outside in garden?

Not positive. Was a gift for a son who collects monkey things,this is his favorite one out of all I'm last 25yrs lol. I'm sure if you protect it same as another wood outside it would.

Is there anyway to see the exact one I would receive before ordering?

Unfortunately, there is no way. All monkeys are unique and different. They are all handmade.

Would this work for a finial on top of the fence I had to raise because my neighbor built an ugly fence?

I guess it could. It is solid wood so would have to liquid nail it to top of fence post. You may need to spray with a clear coat to protect from weather too. I bought it for my son fo Christmas one year, he collects monkeys so I get him a different one every year. Thought it make a great addition. He loved it

Can a mans wedding ring be stored/placed in the middle finger?

Yes but the finger is kinda small. It might slide down the arm.
