Cordless LED Dartboard Light

Only good for limited usage

I bought this light because it was made for dart playing. I had thought about buying a cheaper light that was not intended for lighting a dart board and just deal with it. I mounted the light on the wall according to the instructions. It was easy to mount but after hanging the aluminum frame that holds the two lights the flexible neck just could not support the weight and drooped down 3 inches or so after letting go of it. There are 3 double AA batteries in each light and it just will not stay where you bend it because it is too heavy. Also, each light has to be turned on individually. It would be better to have one switch to turn on both lights. They do provide good lighting and there is a dimming feature and we run them about 50% power. I have it mounted as high as I can, the upper bend comes about an inch form the ceiling and only I can turn on the light because my wife cannot reach it. I am 5 foot 9 inches tall. I was so mad after I first put it in that I had removed it from the wall with the intention of returning it. After I cooled off I decided to remount it and made a way to support the flexible shaft from the ceiling. I am not the best dart player but the light to me seems to hang a bit low and there is always that feeling that you will hit it with a dart, but if you did hit the light that throw was not even going to hit the board. After some adjustments that you should not have to make it does work but I would not buy another.

This product works as intended. The LED lights could be a bit larger but they get the job done. Easy to install and I like the fact they are battery operated, no electrician needed. It is very overpriced, seems to me it should not cost more than $80.00 for the material used to make it, but I could not find anything else like it so I will just deal with that. The seller, Dart Stop, was a pleasure to work with and I will do business with them again. If you need to light up your dartboard this will get the job done.

good design, unfortunately my ceiling is below the recommended height for mounting the light... the design of the light allows me to mount the bar directly to the ceiling which is the optimal height above the dart board. keeping the other parts for when I move to another apartment/house in a years time the lights are bright and allow for dimming... my dart board is drastically brighter over the lighting in the room and now I can clearly see where my darts land

I returned this product with no issues from the seller. The light is good looking set up however it was not bright enough to light up my entire dartboard. It would illuminate the center but not the outer ring.

Product provides good light for the dartboard. Directions that come with the product are clear and it is very easy to install. Other people have complained about having to push a button to turn the light on...c'mon...how lazy have we become. Do I think it's worth $170....no...am I happy I bought it for better viewing for my dart board..absolutely. Would I buy another one if I were to move and not take the light with me...probably not...I would pay to have an electrician put in a spot light to the dart board.

What a difference this light made in our dart board game experience! Makes you feel like you are playing in a professional tournament! Super easy to install, and adds real ambiance to any game room!
