I ordered some in a different pattern for one of my other kids. She wears a size 3 and I ordered a size 4 (hoping she could wear them for longer). Her toes hit the end. Too small. I bought a size up to allow for growth, but the lack of ankle support makes my 3 year old trip and fall all the time. I watched him run around in my sloped backyard and he fell multiple times and I was worried he would twist his ankle.
