I prefer non-metal watchbands due to improved comfort and weight. The Victorinox Swiss Army watch is utilitarian, so I have some visual flexibility. This is not an OEM replacement band. Some of the notable differences are the width of the strap, the rounded end of the non-buckle strap, and the overall length. None of the items are significantly different, but they are enough different that I feel that this band is a couple steps lower in the design and quality compared to the original band.The connection width is fine, i.e. 19mm. The remaining strap width is about 2mm wider than the original. The original has a more tapered look. The end of the strap with the holes is rounded, compared to the original strap the has a more pointed end. The overall length of the strap is about 5-6mm shorter; not a lot, however I was using the 5th hole from the end of the strap on the original band, and now I am using the 3rd hole from the end on the replacement strap. Some of the hole-use difference is due to the different starting/ending location for the holes, number of holes (7 vs 6), and their spacing.Time will tell about the life of this strap. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good replacement for Casio Forester strap and original Swiss Army *by L***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2012* This strap has a total adjustment range of about 1.375" on an overall length of about 6.625" (excluding the watch, of course). It is perfect for my (probably smaller-than-average) male wrist, using the third smallest of six holes.Bought this for a Casio Men's FT500WVB-1BV Forester Sport Watch and it fits that watch perfectly.I've been using this strap for only six months but in examining the stitching closely for this review I see no reason to doubt that it will hold up well over time - given its price.This is an inexpensive band that actually looks okay.Updated February 2016: bought a second band for an original Swiss Army (Victorinox) 2 years ago. On that much-nicer-than-the-Casio watch it fits and works properly, looks appropriate, is still holding up well to wear-and-tear and still looks good (with everyday use!).Updated May 2019: strap purchased in 2014 for Swiss Army finally(!) failed after 5 years of regular, though not daily, often-sweaty use.
