Classic | Behind The Door | Adjustable | Medicine Cabinet, Kitchen Cabinet, & Bathroom Storage Cabinet

This is an excellent solution for homes where there is not a lot of closet space. We recently moved into a home of this nature, and I had been storing all of my bathroom supplies in the towel closet, because there was not anywhere additional to store my stuff. I am very pleased that I may finally be able to move my vitamins and other supplies out of the towel closet and put towels in there! The Cabidor works great for our low-storage home! I just wish there were more doors we could use to put Cabidors on! Now, if I could take off 1/2 point for the instructions and ease of setup, I would. The instructions were not always accurate. It was not possible to place the Cabidor precisely on my door hinges. Really, more holes should have been pre-drilled in th side of the Cabidor in order for it to be a perfect fit. Be prepared to make adjustments as you go, and be willing to accept a slightly "off" placement. (And yes, I followed the instructions and tried placing one connector upside down, but it still did not work). But, in the end, the Cabidor functions well, so there is not much to complain about. A few recommendations that may make your set-up easier... Loosen the top and bottom door hinge before you attempt to place the Cabidor. The instructions tell you to place the top part of the Cabidor over the top hinge, and THEN loosen the other hinge. That may not work. It was impossible to place the hammer in a position to loosen the other hinge once the Cabidor was placed. If you loosen both hinges first, it will be way easier. Measuring the proper distance according to the instructions did not provide me with the right placement. I ended up having to unscrew everything and re-do it several times. Perhaps my door does not function according to standard measurements. It would have been easier if I would have placed the top connector, and then visually inspected where the bottom connector needed to go as opposed to relying on the tape measure and instructions. Despite a slightly complicated set-up, I am thrilled with the storage solution. The shelves are fully adjustable and I can move them easily if my storage needs change. I definitely recommend it!

This behind the door Cabidor is such a GAME CHANGER!!!!!!!! I was missing the hardware to install the cabidor and reached out to their customer support. Debbie was OUTSTANDING! Very responsive and communicative. Such a easy smooth process!!! She had the hardware sent quickly!!!!! I could really tell that this company values their customers and the quality of the product!!! This Cabidor is perfect for those who need storage but it's HIDDEN!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not a fan of clutter AT ALL and this was the best solution! I used this in my super TINY bathroom. I can't fit anything else in there. Before Cabidor, all my bathroom essentials were scattered all over any small surface I can utilize. Now with Cabidor installed, my surfaces are clear as well as my MENTAL!!!!! It was so easy to install as well. The directions were very clear. To give you insight, I'm 5 foot tall and I did it ALL BY MYSELF. I have zero experience in doing anything like this at all. Just buy it, and see how amazing it is for yourself!

Purchased about 18 months ago; I got the non mirror model because clearance behind the door was so limited I didn't want it to crack. It's made out of a very sturdy plastic. I prefer plastic to wood since in my experience painted wood and laminate tends to peel in a wet bathroom environment and look shabby after a few years. Our bathroom is humid and this looks as good as it did the day we installed it. I'm extremely happy with this purchase. I wasn't thrilled with the idea of paying almost $200 for a storage accessory but this is BY FAR the best investment I've made in a while. It holds SO MUCH stuff and it barely take up any room. It just blends in. If we ever move I'm taking this with us. It's so useful. The magnet is pretty strong and you have to really yank to open the door. I taped a piece of paper over the magnet and that helped to make it easier to open. You only see the piece of paper when the cabinet is open and it's really high up so it doesn't change the aesthetic The most challenging part was the installation and lining up the door hinges. But I did it first try. I definitely needed help installing it- that part was a two person job. If you are considering this and it's in your budget I would say go for it. I have no regrets.

Thanks for reading! This cabinet comes exceptionally well packed with a lot of cardboard and spongy paper around it. It's not in an actual box, rather it's cardboard cut to fit and taped around to fit the cabinet snugly. The box/package arrived in excellent condition with no signs of wear or tear etc. When I unpacked the cabinet everything looked fine from a cursory glance... I should have looked closer though. Granted, packing this thing back up to return it is going to be a feat unto itself, because it's not a "real" box. Anyway, what I found after the fact is there's a piece of the cabinet door that has 'damage' and it looks as if it were bumped or damaged. This had to happen somehow BEFORE it was boxed up and shipped to me, as the packaging looked pristine/undamaged. Of course, I didn't see the damage until after I had it up - that's on me of course. I should have done a more thorough inspection before assembling. (I'll be reaching out to the seller) So, damage aside the process of installing was pretty simple. A few tips - You may find putting the bottom cabinet hinge on upside down to be more in line with the holes on the cabinet and with the hinge of your door. As another post mentioned, you'll want to set up your shelve spacing and put the metal bars/dowels into the shelves before you hang it up. Otherwise it's a pain to get to them, and a pain to get the metal bars in place. I didn't use the little black rings they included to hold the dowels in. No need... The magnet for the cabinet is extra strong, which is really good because we've stuffed ours with some bulk items... Mainly Scarves and Gloves and such as you can see in the pictures. The additional weight on your door may make the door squeak a bit at first. Just spray some WD40 on your door hinge and swing open/closed a few times and squeaks be-gone! Mine was the middle hinge only that required. Cheers! R The cabinet looks really nice. It's clean and spacious. Made me realize how dirty the back of my actual door was once the white cabinet was on the white door - with all this COVID stuff this fit right in with my current cleaning spree. I'd recommend the item, but just make sure you thoroughly inspect it before you install it.

This is a life saver when you need extra storage. It’s super easy to install. And is a great price. I did it alone and it took me about an hour and a half. I like how you can customize the height of each shelf. I have a lot of tall bottles so I chose to to do three large shelves and three small shelves which left me with one shelf left over. If I need to add it back in on a later date it will be very easy to do so l. There were some minor cosmetic damages on the cabinet and shelves as seen in the first two pictures. Some “rust” looking stains on three of the shelves and a small crack in the top left corner in the wood of the cabinet. Nothing major and not anything I would lower the 5-star rating for. It would be more of a hassle to pack this back up and ship it back than for me to just keep it and deal with the minor damage. Should that crack become bigger or detract from the functionality of the cabinet I will come back and update the review. As for now it looks amazing. Such a smart idea for extra storage. You definitely will not regret purchasing this cabinet.

I was pleasantly surprised when opening this last week after it arrived quickly. It was very well packed - impressive with the rubber corner protectors, extra heavy cardboard, & padding. I ordered the Cabidor without the mirror, but would expect it to be equally well packaged. I took out the instructions to read the day before installation & was equally impressed. I was so impressed that I assumed it was made in the USA & looked for the sticker - very surprised that it came from China. I used to write curriculum, then instructions for how to use software. I am always frustrated when I read instructions or directions with mistakes, steps left out, poor spelling or grammar - often times it is very obvious that they were written by someone without a good command of the English language or without regard to the customer doing the assembly. I also know that instructions sometimes look clear until you actually begin to assemble or install, but not the case with these. The steps were well written & easy to follow - everything went as planned. The only difference I found was that it called for 8 tiny washers & only 4 were provided. I am not sure 8 are actually needed, but I had an extra 4 anyway. The adhesive on the magnet does not stick to the bathroom door I used, but there were 2 extra screws in the materials & I used them to attach the magnet to the door. The rods that are used were easy to insert into the pre-drilled holes - perhaps a little too easy. The small rubber grommets slide along the rod with no friction. If the rods become a problem in the future & slide out, I may have to put a rubber band or find another solution to keep them from sliding out. For the few days I have used it, there has been no problem. Overall, this is a great solution for storage, an easy installation, & an impressive delivery. I will be ordering another one & recommending that my daughter get some for her house.

Husband easily installed with included hardware. It is heavy, but he installed by himself. Fits on the back of the bathroom door. Provides plenty of space for essentials, tall and small. Appreciate the metal bars to prevent items from tipping off the shelves. The magnet is strong, keeps the cabinet from opening when using the door. Very happy with this purchase.

Easy to assemble and attach to door. (Attaching to the door really needs two people. ) I ordered a second one for my guest bathroom, so they could put all their personal items in it while visiting, so they didn’t need to drag them back and forth to the guest room. They loved it and went home and purchased two for their home. They are a great asset to my bathrooms and look good. Great value, great item.
