Easier to install then I would have thought.
Relatively easy repair for a sheared axel. Tuff Torq has a clear PDF guide (online). Decided on this kit because it contains fluid, sealant, new axel seals, internal filter, and cap. Broken axel slid out after opening the case and lifting out two retaininv clips. New axel skid right in. Decided to replace both sides while I had the transaxle out. Entire job took about two hours of labor. Waited a few hours to let sealant cure before adding new fluid. I've never done this type of repair before. So if you have any mechanical skills this is straight forward and a solid repair. I mowed 2 acres the following day much of which is on a slope. While not objectively measured, I feel the overall drive was quieter and more responsive shifting. NOTE: I did not buy this on Amazon as another vendor had the same kit for $40 less.
