I decided to go with this one and I am so happy I did. it fit my Compaq Presario CQ62 like a glove! I am also happy to be mobile agian with my laptop even if it is an older model I still love to be able to carry it where I want when I want I am unplugged :) If you need a battery replacement I suggest you get it here! came a day earlier then I expected plugged it in and bam working like a charm. I do suggest you follow instructions that come with the battery on how to properly charge it as most people do not follow proper care and use of these they just take it for granted. I wanted to give the old Compaq (a CQ56 with an Intel Celeron) some new life by getting rid of the bloated Windows 10 that installed itself 'for free' three years ago and installing a Linux based distro, but the original battery just died. This replacement product came to the rescue. If you want to replace the battery on a similar old laptop, consider this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Didn’t fit: a smidge off.
