Takes skill to do this job but the tools and parts in this kit are excellent!

Works great!
I had an issue with my daughters flute. One pad went missing. The problem is you can’t buy just one. So... I bought the whole kit. The pad I needed was there and now I have enough parts to probably last a lifetime or if any other kids in the marching band need maintenance done on their flutes.

Great kit but not everything you need to get the job done
Great kit, but corks were needed for some of the keys and the instructions could have been more helpful. All of the pieces were there and it worked nicely. You will still need a small screwdriver, instructions from another source, tweezers, pliers, and a hot pad iron (or hair straightener)

Watching jlsmithco's YouTube videos, I was able to use these pads to replace my worn ones. I was pleased with the quality and fit of these pads for my gemeinhardt flute. I also bought the "valentino flute fix kit" because it contained a few more useful tools.

Kit worked great on my flute. No instructions on how to install so YouTube for flute repair.

Not as advertised. Do not buy.
The pads did not fit as stated in the kit. I attempted to contact the seller to give him an opportunity to correct this and got no response back. Waste of money.

More like 1 1/2 ☆
Purchased for Emerson ELD; sterling silver; open hole; b-foot. This kit, unfortunately, is NOT for open-hole flutes-my fault. I was able to use some of the pads, though, as well as glue pellets. The leak light did NOT work. I haven't used the oil, or tried replacing the head joint cork, but I should be able to make use of a few more materials over time. Quality is so-so, but I could see buying this kit to keep on hand, in case of needing a quick, temporary fix.

Cheap Materials, more tools needed than specified
I bought this kit mainly because of the light, but any time you tried to use it, the light flickered or went out - rendering it useless. The polish paste showed up leaking and the label unreadable. No label on the oil. Glue pellets in a bag - no mention of this needed a torch tool needed to melt. No mention of a tool needed for gauge sheets. Just not a complete kit to do the job as promised.
