I PICKED A PARTS WASHER AT AN AUCTION NICE AND CHEAP. I BROUGHT IT HOME AND PLUGGED IT IN AND NOTHING HAPPENED, GO FIGURE. WELL CLEANED EVERYTHING UP AND STARTED DOING THE REDNECK TESTING, L. I. B. THE PUMP WAS ALL PUMPED OUT. I FOUND THIS THIS GEM ON AMAZON, GOT THE NEXT DAY AND INSTALLED. HOLY MOLY ROCKY IT PUMPED FLUID LIKE CRAZY. NOW THE CHEAP PILE OF JUNK THAT I BOUGHT FOR $20 IS WORKING LIKE A NEW MACHINE. FOR SALE, LIKE NEW PARTS WASHER MAKE ME AN OFFER THAT YOUR MOTHER WOULD LIKE. THANKS FELLERS...

Great pump. High volume, good pressure.
Excellent pressure and volume. This pump really pumps. I put it on a small 3.2 gallon parts washer and it is almost too much volume. Easy install. Only thing is that it does not come with any fittings and it has a female 1/2" NPT (I think) output. I found some fittings and made a dispenser hose for it, but it would be nice if it came with a whip hose and fittings to match, in case that is different from your application. Super quiet also.

Solvent pump
It fits the Harbor Freight solvent tank that I found at a yard sale for $25 that had a burned up pump. It works pretty dang well don’t use flammable solvent with it. I put in simply green. It’s non-flammable and cut grease like you wouldn’t believe and will not hurt the pump. It flows like it should seems to be a fairly good quality pump for the price

Works with Harbor Freight 20-gallon Parts Washer WITH MODIFICATION
This is not a direct replacement for the smaller PP-399N Jebao pump that came with my 2015 Harbor Freight parts washer. If you want a direct replacement, get the smaller 20-gallon PWP20 pump, or specifically the PP-399N Jebao pump. The box specifically references 40-gallon parts washers whereas the Amazon-description at the time of this review references 20-gallon--again, not a drop in replacement for the smaller 20-gallon washer pump.To get this to work in my 2015-era red and blue HF parts washer, I had to cut channels in the intake cap to lenghten the mounting slots by 1/4" so the pump sat further off the bottom of the pump housing and allowed the outlet tube to line up with the hole in the side of the housing pump. The PWP40 is longer and taller than the PWP20 pump, and I had to replace the original outlet/elbow support bracket screws with longer screws and added washers between the bracket and housing the account for the pump being taller and therefor the outlet elbow sitting further outside of the pump housing. It took about 25-minutes of work to get it installed with the modifications. The pump does flow more than the 20-gallon pump but it's not a whole lot more. I like the extra flow rate, but for those who are indifferent or the factory flow rate works, it's probably not worth the time to modify this pump when a drop-in replacement is available.
