Honestly *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2015* I bought the Gen3 version of the Body Armor doors.. assuming they must be better! Honestly, I'm not sure what the difference is other than I paid a lot more money.I like the look of the doors, and nice clean exterior. It turns a lot of heads. The door handles are good placement and design. I liked that they are a nice heavy steal. My goal for the doors was to have something there to contain my kids, when I had the full doors off. With that, I liked that the doors came up to give a higher top bar (where most tube doors go down).There were some blemishes in the powder coat, but they weren't noticeable once I put the netting on. The netting is just velcro'd on, so it is just for cosmetics and of no value to keeping anything in or out. They also do rattle some when driving, but not enough to bother me. The instructions that come with it were beyond horrible and I could find no instructions on Body Armor's website. I think you actually have to go out of your way to make instructions that poor! I basically was looking at random photo's on the internet and trying to figure out how to put the doors together. But the biggest issue for me is the way the door latches work. They open and close very poorly... once I kind of figured out how to kind of hold the handle, lift, and slam them just right... it's not so bad. But anyone but me struggles to open/close them effectively. In my research when looking at other vendor tube doors the latch's on them all seem horribly inadequate across the board. So I think this is a widespread problem that they all have inferior latches compared to the OEM doors that came with your Jeep (and what your expectations are for). I knocked off only a star for that, in a relative comparison.
