Angelcare Ac027 Sensasure Baby Movement Monitor

I trust angel care I bought this for when my grandson stays over it is so easy to use and I can go to sleep and not worry if anything happens I would know in seconds the alarm is loud the technology has come a long way since I bought my first angel care

This does what it is supposed to. I just have the movement monitor. We have a cot bed and when the monitor was not in the middle of the mattress it did go off a couple of times when she was right up the other end but it does work well overall. It has beeped a couple of times to wake her but I think that is because she is so tiny. I am happy with it and very glad I got it. I can sleep without checking on her so often.

This is not a camera. It is a plate, a bit like a set of scales, which has two parts. The top can wiggle on the send part. This means it can detect movements. It has different sensitivity settings to detect very subtle movements. The alarm goes off if baby stops breathing. You put it under the mattress. So far, the alarm has never gone off while my boy has been lying on it. And he sleeps very soundly. (I sometimes have to watch him for a number of seconds to see he's breathing). I feel much safer knowing it is keeping track of his breathing, and I sleep so much better knowing it's there. I only have two niggles really. 1. When you turn it on, after a few seconds, an alarm sounds a single, loud beep. I have to sit on the remote or turn it on in another room to muffle the sound, as it usually startled the boy. 2. The button to turn it on and off is flush, small, on the side and awkward to find in the dark. That means a lot of fumbling about while the alarm is going off, because you forgot to turn it off before lifting him out of the crib to feed. Not great at 4am when he's crying to be fed.

Works very well. Easy to pair.

I really wanted to like this item as it is wireless and can be used alongside other monitors. However our first order worked ok for a couple of weeks and then started just turning off with no warning and changing the batteries made no difference.So we reported it as faulty and asked for a replacement and this second order is doing the same. It's really worrying when you wake in the middle of the night and see it has turned itself off and is no longer monitoring your baby's breathing. Changing the batteries has made no difference.

Waking up and worried is your child still breathing? This was the best thing we bought slept great knowing it was detecting my baby while we slept. It goes off of we forget to pause but shows it works and happy with this product.

The beeping when it's paused is not helpful; the product says it can be paused to comfort baby, then it beeps loudly every 20 seconds or so - not relaxing! Have to turn it off to avoid this, then when it turns on it beeps loudly once. I bury it in the duvet to muffle the sound and avoid waking the baby.Sensor itself is good though; no false alarms so far. Very useful for travel.Battery provided for sensor pad didn't last long at all so had to be replaced.

Baby went into its own room. Can soundly sleep without getting up to check on breathing every 10 minutes
