Get the green book
While the pink book probably has all the information one would need to restore their MGB, I find myself using the green book almost exclusively, and not the pink book at all.The green book is more detailed, like a proper shop manual should be. What I like about the pink book is it contains Editor's notes--commentary from people who have actually performed the work in that section, or advice/info they felt was missing from the official text.If you can afford both, get both; but if you have to choose one, get the green book for sure.

MG MGB & MGB GT Workshop Manual: AKD 3259 (Official Workshop Manuals)
exact quality and detail i'd expect from a factory manual. Correct information, specs and illustrations from bumper to bumper.

A source of Factory Information
I was working on restoring a 1973 MGB GT and need a source of specifications and changes to the product line over time. This book filled all those needs, although at time some of the text was a little simplistic overhaul it was a good starting point.

No photographs, poor illustrations
Doing a 1976 MGB rehab., used to using factory manuals. The US shop manual for my 2001 Ford Focus (2000+ pages, two volumes, many photos.) covers EVERYTHING FOCUS. All steps for repair covered. This is not anywhere as complete, yet it was copyrighted first in 1976, then again in 1984, 1995, and 2015. Doesn't anybody own a camera"? Give a tech a break.

Workshop manual
Maybe I was expecting too much from a manual. Values such as torque settings and ohms are not provided in the descriptions. You tube and AMGBA tech. articles are better, but do require a computer....

Looks to be complete.
Seems complete. I bought it for my mechanic when I take my MGB to him.

Ok
Not fully comprehensive for 78

Detailed manual
Covers most tasks. Electrical schematics are very busy and a little "fussy" could do with A2 rather than A4. But worth the cost

Good value

Found most of what I needed
Would of expected greater detail especially as classified as Official Workshop Manual, when looking for deatils of door mechanisms and vent cables etc
