First of all, getting the lid off is kind of hard but I found if it doesn't come off easily just give it like a quarter turn and keep repeating until it easily pops off. Try pulling at a slight angle as well. Filling is hard but they are tiny shakers so either use a funnel or do it over the sink to avoid spillage on your counters and/or floors. In my case I filled it with some spicy salt blends but notice because some of the granules are very tiny, while some are larger, that they very tiny granules kind of just fall through if I shake it around. A minor issue for me, but FYI.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I pick this product because it's nice and small. Wanted it for traveling Salt content: Rock Salt Ease of use: It didn't come with instructions on how to get it open and there isn't a way to adjust the grind, It's a bit hard to twist, but it does work great. I think I had too much salt in it at first.

Happened too many times at restaurants,.. there was no salt or pepper on the table, only pesky packets floating about. Lol, would make a great stocking stuffer for Christmas 2020! Really though, these are the perfect thing to carry in your purse. They are small enough, yet hold a good amount of salt and pepper, and also look pretty fancy. I put mine in a little felt jewelry pouch so no leaks in my bag. Only issue I’ve seen is larger hands might have more trouble grinding them. I tried to show size reference in my pic.

They look great! However I could not get them open, to put the salt/ pepper in...........So i ordered another set..... Same problem.......So I returned them both..in the same return package... That might have been a problem, because they came in two shipments, but I sent them back in 1 package...

These salt & pepper grinders/shakers work great, they’re easy to use and VERY handy!

Super cute, hard to fill, broke after about 6 uses, they were for our camper so they were not used very much. Just think of them as disposable then you won’t be upset when they break.

Definitely compact, good to pack in a lunch. I found them to be hard to use. They didn't come with instructions. Top is hard to remove to refill mill. To operate the grinding function becomes a matter of a back and forth method rather than just turning. Hard to get a grip on to operate. Does not seem to have an adjustable grind. But they are cute.

These are very small but exactly what we wanted, as we received a gift box with multiple high end salts and peppercorns. We needed something that holds a small amount so we can switch to a different flavor easily. For the size, these grind exceptionally well if you are looking for a medium grind. This would be a great gift to accompany some higher quality salts and peppercorns. We use them on steaks and it definitely elevates the flavor!
