Quality and Made in the USA!
Own three from Dexter. Had two over 30 years and they still look new. They are perfectly balanced so when put down on a flat surface, they rest on the 'heel' of the metal spatula and the butt of the handle, that keeps the blade up and neither makes a mess on your counter nor does it get contaminates to transfer to your food!

Great tool for cooking on griddle
I use this whenever I cook on our cooktop's griddle. Its large size makes it great for turning pancakes, hash browns, vegetables...anything. The stainless steel blade is strong yet thin enough to slide under and separate foods that may get stuck to the griddle surface. The wood handle is smooth and feels good in the hand. And for those that care like I do, this tool is Made in the USA.
