WOOOOOOO That's a blast of mentholated fumes
Works as advertised 100%. You barely have to have water hitting it for it to activate. I break them in half and leave the other for my fiance when we're feeling bad. Lasts for a good 10-15 under direct water, 15-30 under splashes of water from the shower head.I would buy again.Be aware that it is a STRONG scent while it is working. Think of it as taking a vaporub steam shower.

Great product and lasted a long time before disintegrating
I get migraines and have since I was a teenager (I’m now 37). Back then they made these shower discs for migraines and it was a godsend but then I think they either took them off the market or stopped selling them in the grocery stores here. Sad day. So recently I searched Amazon to see if they exist again. I didn’t find them but I found these and figured I’d give them a try. YES- YES- YES! Between the hot water of the shower directly on my head and these vapors opening up the sinuses, it was very helpful. I will definitely use these to help my migraine pain. I also could totally see using these when congested. Love them!

Worked great
My husband has had sinus issues as long as I have known him...going on 39 years and this is wonderful. I actually got a container with very hot water and put a tablet in it in our bedroom (not close to bed because it is very strong) and the entire room smelled heavenly, even helped me to breath with my cold and he didn't snore at all...a true blessing, we both got sleep. If it is strong, take it out before you actually go to bed. I usually do it for an hour with the door shut before bed. This was my experience, I advice you to check with them first if you feel uncomfortable doing it the way I did..but it worked for us.

Dollars and Scents
Having purchased a few of the different "shower steamers" and "shower bombs" available, I can confidently say Vicks VapoShower tablets are about as good as you can get -- and the price is reasonable. They're not powerful. It's a very light, temporary effect, but to really breathe it in, you have to use at least two tablets at a time. It's still a value, because the product is consistent and you can trust it. Trust comes at a price.I trust the quality control of this product -- and that the things listed on the side of the box truly are the main ingredients. The fact is, these shower steamer products may come in beautifully fancy packaging, but you'll be directly inhaling the fumes, so it's important to know if it's some knock-off product manufactured on the cheap.Ingredients list: Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Sesquicarbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Camphor, PEG-180, Menthol, Eucalyptus Oil, Nutmeg Oil, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Cedar Leaf Oil, Canola Oil, Hydroxypropylcellulose, Thymol.

Not sure why the bad reviews
These are wonderful, so I am legit baffled with the poor reviews. Maybe they received a bad batch? The shower tablets we received worked perfect. I dropped one on the shower floor with warm water running. The menthol smell immediately hit me. It was incredibly relaxing and helped bring me serious sinus relief. My only "gripe" would be I wish the tablet would last longer than 10 or 15 minutes, however I don't feel the time the tablet does last is really a problem. One thing I do in addition to using in the shower are dropping a tablet in both hot or cold humidifiers. Our daughter has a cold mist humidifier and the tablet takes a long time to dissolve, unlike the liquid version which sort of fades after a couple hours. The tablet in cold water will still dissolve and takes 8 hours plus. In a warm humidifier the tablet lasts around 4 or 5 hours, which enough time to get into a comfortable sleep.I would not let the negative reviews detour you from at least trying these. They are now a regular staple in our medicine closet.

The work wonders
So my son my boyfriend and me were all sick with a nasty cold and our sinuses were just so bad too and I didn’t want to keep using nose spray. I bought this and man did they open up our airways and make us feel better. The scent is strong but when you’re as clogged as I was, this feels so soothing. It helped us feel better! You won’t regret it I promise

It works but doesn't last for long showers
These tablets do work. However just not for the duration of a shower, only quick showers. Also, it is very hard to position the tablet in the shower for full impact especially if you are using a large shower head where the water is released like rain or a spray—without force. In order to get the full impact of the menthol for the duration of the shower, I decided to place the tablet in a container of water so that the aroma can remain through the duration of the shower. With that method, I’m able to hold my head over that container for full impact. We’ve been using this product now for about 8 or 9 months and those in the family with sinus issues really like the tablets and my method for using them. The downside is the price! I hope that Amazon and Vicks could work on a subscription plan for prime members to offer a lower price. Costco used to sell this same 4pack for $10!Based on tbe price and the ease of use I had to rate this product as a 3, but if one or both of these changes in the future, I would make an update to this review.

Fantastic tablets!
I love these things! I place them in the middle of the length of the bathtub and on the side of the bathtub/shower floor. Don’t place them too near the faucet or drain because they will dissolve too quickly. The smell is definitely Vick’s classic scent but is much lighter than you may expect. I don’t feel overwhelmed by it in the shower, but once I get out I realize how much better I can breathe. Great to keep around for cold/flu, or I periodically use them if my nose is stuffy (allergies or other minor things). If you don’t use the whole tablet, set it on your soap shelf so it stays dry and you can use it on the next shower. I’d say these could last 1-3 showers each.
