Outstanding product
I was nervous about these being too stiff for my van. I have a 2007 e350 quigley extended, and the majority of the reviews are from class c owners. I usually run with several hundred pounds in the back and a roof top tent nearly all behind the rear axle. The ride improvement was noticeable and not harsh at all. It only raised the rear around an inch. The installation was a little more difficult because of the brackets that quigley welds in to compensate for the lift blocks. After having to cut the old shocks out with a grinder, the install was a breeze. As others have said, you will need 2 jacks.

Stabilizing
Very stabilizing. Life is full of ups and downs. Traversing alone in my van, these ups and downs seemed more drastic. I felt very unstable. Around every corner, it seemed as though I'd never be completely upright again. Things were very turbulent, and this was worst in the darkness of what seemed pointless meandering on long, cold nights. Every bump in life seemed to be an intense, never ending up or down. After seeking some help, and utilizing these, my voyage is much more stable. The ups aren't as drastic, nor are the downs. The twists and turns aren't as disorienting, either. These definitely help keep me on a more even plateau whether I'm working or playing.

WOW what a difference!!
I just put these on my 2002 E350 Super Duty, as you can see from the pic the old shocks were shot. These new ones are high quality, and VERY BEEFY. They went on pretty easy, and gave me about an inch or so of added lift. The ride has improved tremendously, I am very happy with these new shocks. Plus the current price on Amazon is ridiculously cheap for a shock of this caliber. These are much nicer than an other brand in this price range.

Not a horrible job, a can do one, but it isn't easy. ford e350
The Shocks Work, Not sure if there is any gas inside. I think its all spring. This does raise the back up maybe 3 inches. It helps but still kind of loud I guess probably leaf springs are bad. As for getting them on the vehicle, what a pain. My bolts on the old shock was rusted. The only way is to cut it. The bottom of the shock has to be jacked up, still couldn't get the bolts out of the bottom of shock without cutting it. The left shock upper bolt is 3 inches off the gas tank. I would say over 2 hours per shock. Don't need to take the tire off just get the vehicle off the ground a (3t floor jack with a piece of wood on the frame in front of tire worked for me. The leaf spring will only let the tire drop so far off the ground anyway. Once bottom bolt is out The old shock was rusted and falling apart so a pipe wrench wouldn't work. Twisting the shock off a rusted bolt. Not Happening lol The Bottom Bolts are not threaded in the shock. (who knows with Ford?) Putting the new (shock) well the bottom of the shock had metal burs that may cut your hand if trying to turn the whole shock. Both nuts at turn location was same size so (2) 3/4 wrench was needed. Putting them on 30 minutes, using a jack on the bottom to line the through bolt up. Nothing easy about this. Cut until Bolt Breaks off. Once you get the shock in the mail and out of the box take the top bolt and tight and loosen about 100 times. Your first 30 times of tightening are not going to be easy. this will probably make it easier before the shock is on the vehicle. Not a horrible job, a can do one, but it isn't easy. ford e350

Great shocks, check incl. bushing packs
The shocks are great. Monroe includes the necessary bushing kit, but make sure the part numbers match for each. I had to request the correct kit from Tenneco's customer service which added a few days to my install.

Rear Monroe coil over shock upgrade
It’s a affordable way to beef up your suspension to haul load or trailer. Also installed yellow Monroe truck shocks on front, so it added an inch of lift in the rear when loaded with camping gear, when hitting big road dips is very controlled now. Installation with a hoist requires a heavy friend to hang on the wheel or a bottle Jack between the axle and the frame or body, to get the axle low enough to get the lower bolt in, all in all, we’re satisfied. First picture is before and second picture is after rear coil over shock installation.

Things you should consider
#1, I think if you're only packing 1 shock rather than a set like most shocks that should be abundantly clear. They are not. #2 don't discard the old parts you remove. These don't include all the hardware you need to install them. #3 These have powerful springs and in most cases even if you jack up the RV and let the axle hang without the wheels. You'll still need to jack on the shock to collapse it a inch or 2 to connect the bottom mounting bolt. It takes some finesse. This is not a set of shocks, it's 1 shock. We'll see how they preform then we'll edit this.
