Makes even tight lugs melt loose with it's extra torque.
I needed to replace a windshield wiper fluid pump on my BMW, and strangely enough, that requires that the front right tire be removed to get at its location. The repair promised to be agrevating so the last thing I wanted was to start the job by needing to wrestle with frozen lug bolts. I ordered this lug wrench both for the great reviews but it looked like I could get maximum torque with it's design. Construction is industrial grade! The parts slip together easily and you're in business in seconds. Thankfully, the garage that had put my tires on had evidently torqued them to the correct 85 foot pounds instead of just riveting them on carelessly, so the extra torque the bar length allowed made them loosen almost effortlessly. I love that the part your weak hand holds on the wrench during use allows it to freewheel as it turns. Great design, high quality, heavy duty, breaks down to a compact size for minimal storage area. If you need a lug wrench or want to upgrade for peace of mind, I can't recommend this one highly enough! It checks all the boxes.

Nice tool
Well made, space saver for trunk because you will not get the lug nuts off with the crap provided by manufacturers.

Not high quality but does the job
This tool offers plenty of leverage and does the job but the locking balls are defective and the handle doesn’t lock in place and very little resistance to keep it in one spot. However, with tension applied it performs adequately. Not high quality. The depth of one half of the socket should be deeper.

Compact
Nice and small. Works great! Better than what comes with my car.

Lug wrench
Very compact. Easy to store. Makes changing tires a breeze. Should have about this long ago. Built very good. Value is great. Can't go wrong

Just right for emergency tire change
I got this after getting a flat tire and needing to call AAA because I couldn't loosen the lug nuts with the small lug wrench that comes with the car. This wrench has a long handle that can be shortened or lengthened to get the amount of leverage you need. I was a little surprised that the handle is not fixed. It slides freely on the X-shaped part of the tool. That's not really a problem though, and it makes it easy to slide off the handle so you can spin off the lug nut with the X-shaped part of the tool. I tested it on my car and found that it has plenty of leverage to loosen the nuts, which had been torqued down very tightly at the repair shop. I like the way it easily assembles and disassembles and can be stored very compactly in the bag that comes with it. My car doesn't have a trunk so that's important for me. Now that I have this tool I can change my own tires without having to call a tow truck for help.

More leverage than 4-way lug wrench, *much* better than ridiculous wrench cars come with
This minimizes time it takes to change a flat on the side of road, which leaves you exposed to traffic. For the same reason, you should carry a floor-jack (or at least a bottle jack) and a wheel chock.Adjustable-length handle gives you a wider torque range. It is compact when stowed.- Removing flat tire: With crossbar almost fully extended you can loosen most lug nuts. Tire shops typically over-tightened with impact wrenches. Careful not to round off the nut.- Installing spare: Shorten the crossbar in a bit for this.Note: Nothing keeps the long handle (crossbar) from sliding out of the short handle. Leave at least an inch or two sticking out the hole when using.Note: Inflate and check air pressure in your spare annually and before any long trip. Else you will just replace one flat with another.Suggestion: A locking clip or cotter pin should be included to keep crossbar from slipping out. This is a cheap safety enhancement.

Sockets are not long enough
I really wanted to like this but had to return it. It seems to be good quality and is compact. However, when you place the bar into the socket, some of the bar protrudes into the socket so it doesn't seat all the way to the back of the lug nut, at least for my vehicle. Your mileage may differ. It would most likely still work but I did not want to risk it slipping off or stripping the lugs. You could also buy some extra sockets but why?
