Perfect fit
This belt matched my OE belt exactly and has been working perfectly! The install was a bit tricky, but if you watch the YouTube videos on how to install the belt and follow the instructions exactly you will be good to go. I would 100% recommend this replacement belt!

Know Your Up/Down Cycle Position
This belt was the perfect replacement for my original one. The YouTube installation videos are good, but I made the mistake of installing the belt at the trolley location after the initial breakage. After installation (disconnecting from the door bracket), I observed the trolley only going halfway -- the auto-up direction safety feature on a door closing. So, I removed the belt and ran both, the up and down cycles fully. You have to watch the gear turn at the motor without the belt on to see this. Counterclockwise is the down cycle; clockwise is the up cycle. Let the trolley move closest to the closed door (close cycle). I surmised that the cycle had not completed before the initial break. After doing that and reinstalling the belt (with the trolley closest to the closed door) it was easy to make the minute up/down adjustments and everything worked fine. In fact, it prompted me to adjust open/close positions on the other two garage openers. Sorry I don't have pictures for this, but I hope this explanation helps. Live and learn!

Original and good fit
I ordered this belt for my lift master garage door opener, I had to research to find out the model of my opener and once I found that it was easy to decide which belt to order because they come in different length and if you order the wrong belt its not going to fit.

Perfect replacement for Liftmaster Formula1 Model 2280R
Garage was having difficulty opening without a little manual help. After researching extensively online, I initially thought it needed a travel and/or force adjustment. When that didn't help, closer inspection showed that the belt had shredded (see pictures 1-2). I didn't have the original owner's manual so I couldn't find the replacement part numbers without the model number. I pulled off the light cover (see picture 3). Note that these are NOT the model numbers. FYI, the top number 41A5483-AC is the circuit board part number; IC-2666A is the battery/remote control number. I forgot what 10211499A represented. If you pull the light cover off the other side of the unit (the side closest to the garage door. Uncovered side in picture 4), that is where you'll find the unit's model number and appropriate owner's manual on Chamberlain's website. The manual said I needed belt 41A5434-11, but I found this belt, 41A5434-11A, works just fine. The replacement process took about 30 minutes without having to take down the entire unit. I watched 2 youtube videos for reference: "Replacing the Belt on a Belt-Drive Garage Door Opener" by Sears PartsDirect and "Chamberlain Garage Door Opener Belt Replacement 1280R Liftmaster 41A3589-3" by diy collaborative. Since I adjusted the force and travel before replacing the belt, I had to readjust everything back. So before you make any adjustments, check to see if the belt needs replacing first. It helps to use the remote control to open/close the garage so you can see the belt working and assess the problem. The belt did cost a few dollars more than other web retailers, but I was able to get the belt in one day with Prime Shipping which is really convenient. If you found my review helpful, please vote so that it helps others, too. I spent way too much time looking for replacement parts when I didn't have the correct model number in the first place. I hope the pictures help you. Good luck!
