Well made
My mother has a pair of scissors like this that she purchased 30 years ago and they are amazing. Hers were by Revlon and made in Italy. I swear these scissors are the exact same ones. Although it doesn't have the Revlon name, they are made in Italy and have the same exact shape. They are very well built and have a smooth cutting action. The blades are very sharp. I use them to cut my baby's nails and they do a fantastic job.

UPDATE: 5 STARS NOW
Been using several times a day since purchase. Still sharp. Cut perfectly even at the very tip. Well made and very sturdy. Handles easily. Better than any Revlon I have owned. Purchased a second pair for my travel bag. Well made but the cutting blade area is a little larger than I like. Unfortunately the Revlon Professional cuticle scissors are no longer made. Larger than perceived cutting blades.

worth the extra money
I did a bit of research and read a bunch of reviews, and decided to order these scissors. I like nail scissors that are precise with a super-sharp point. These were perfect. The craftsmanship is excellent, and I am happy that I spent a little more money on a better product.

Good
Like many others I am on the hunt to replace the discontinued Revlon cuticle scissors that are sharp and thin. These are good, though not quite as good unfortunately as the Revlons. They seem sharp (just started using), fairly well-made, stamped with "made in Italy," but just a smidge too thick. I can still cut my cuticles well, I just wish they were a teeny bit thinner at the edge. Still, a huge improvement over other alternatives for a decent price and they do the job. So overall I'm satisfied and I'm pretty particular about cuticle scissors!

as these were not inexpensive and when they worked correctly were terrific. Very disappointed
I purchased these scissors March 2016. It is now January 2017 and the screw that keeps the two blades together will not stay tight. I have to tighten it every time I want to use these scissors. Very disappointing, as these were not inexpensive and when they worked correctly were terrific. Very disappointed.

Good quality
I was looking to get a pair that were like a pair of Revlon professional cuticle scissors (made in Italy) that I have owned for over 30 gears. Another reviewer mentioned how these fit that profile. Unfortunately, these tower point scissors are not as fine. They are much better than what a drug store has to offer. They are well made but not the fine quality I was looking for. Shipment was efficient and prompt.

A tip for avoiding breakage
I bought these scissors to do fine trimming of facial hair, I wanted finely pointed scissors with thin-ground edges, and these scissors work great for my needs. The scissors came tight, too tight for my liking, but they can be loosened by turning the pivot screw with a small flat-head screwdriver. Now they are perfect. In their original condition, with a tight pivot, the bottom scissor point would get pushed back pretty far when the scissors were used/closed (the bottom point is more curved than the top point, which is necessary for curved-tip scissors to work). The problem is- the more a piece of hardened steel (like these scissor points) get pushed back, the more likely it is that the bottom point will be over-stressed and this could cause it to break off. But you can significantly reduce the chances of this happening if you loosen the pivot a little. I'm not saying they need to be sloppy loose, just slightly loosened. The pivot screw in my scissors is set snugly in place, so even after being loosened I don't see any chance of the screw falling out or coming loose on it's own. EDIT: It's now December of 2025 and these scissors are still going strong. I use them regularly. After more than seven years of use they still cut great, they haven't broken, and the screw has never loosened much less fallen out. I like these scissors so much I bought a second pair just to have an extra, and in case I ever drop the first pair and damage them.

They appeared to be high quality but failed after 8 uses.
I bought these last November and have used them about 8 times and only on cuticles. I loved them. They appeared to be high quality and they are very sharp. They had a tight bite until recently when the screw became loose. I have tightened them with a jeweler's screw driver several times but the screw keeps loosening so they are basically useless. I am so disappointed.
