Since this is a two piece straw that you connect to make one, make sure you wash and dry every part before use or else it may have a weird odor since there isn’t a lot of ventilation in the case. Make sure you wash all and dry the silicone tips before use as well! The cleaning brush is short, but designed to clean each small part of the straw. I originally bought this item thinking that boba could fit through the straw, but the big boba doesn’t. Pretty sure the small boba will fit, but I haven’t tried that myself yet. Oh, and if you wear lipstick or lipgloss when using the silicone tip make sure you wash it thoroughly because lip products seem to stick on, and even wiping with a napkin won’t remove everything.They also have great customer service! Ellen reaches out with every order to see if you’re satisfied with the product. I replied after she offered to send extra silicone tips and an extra cleaning brush at no charge. I also let her know that the old lid wasn’t the best at cutting and she informed me that they were updating the design. This pack is amazing! You get several colors in the silicone straws and they are bent! Then you also get 2 jumbo metal straws and those have silicone mouthpieces on them. They also have brushes that you can use to clean the straws with. Not 1, but 3!! Several friends of mine and I have been really trying to stop the use of the disposable plastic straws, and if you're looking for a gift for someone, this is really cool. It has it's own felt case too, so I can keep them clean in my desk drawer and protected or in my purse. I highly recommend these! The silicone ones fit into the drink opening in the Yeti (or non-Yeti) 30oz lids. So it's a bonus for smoothies or protein shakes because it will keep them cold.
