My parrot (age 4 yrs) loves these treats a LOT but she doesn't pluck her feathers and never has. I think this answer depends on your bird and why it plucks its feathers in the first place. Example: if your bird is lonely, I'm not sure you'll see any difference. My bird eats these fairly fast and that would probably be a factor too. If your bird is a large breed, it could probably eat these quickly too because they're not that big. My parrot loves the flavor variation from her regular food and I only give them to her about once or twice a week strictly as a treat. I wish I could be more helpful. They're really great and may be enough of a diversion or "attitude lifter" that your bird would feel less stressed. Do you know why your bird is stressing? That would make a huge difference too.
