This desk mat is exactly what I wanted and is actually great!!!! No odd smell. Perfect out of the package. Laid flat the moment it was place on the desk. You can use your mouse on it but preferred mouse pad due to wrist support. I have used this over 2 weeks with no problems at all. No slipping on desk, Great protection. Easy to clean and very non slip. Looks great with my laptop and is decent sized for use with my wireless mouse too so no need for a mouse pad! Good quality and affordable.

So good I need another! Accurate color description. (my lighting made it look faded) Adds cushion. Dents will self-release over time. Not that it came dented but I have dented it with heavy objects.Wipes down beautifully.

Looks good, but my mouse's lens doesn't work well on this surface, so I had to continue using a mouse pad on top of the mat.

I used this mat to put on my white night stand to protect it from getting stained or damaged. All I had to do was trim the mat to make it the right size. It is perfect. It stays in place and does not move around like the clear plastic I used to have on it. Now I do not have to worry about my guests leaving watery drinks on my white night stand.
