BEST Halvah !!!
This is the same creamy halvah I grew up eating when I visited my Bubbie (Grandmother) & Zaydie (Grandfather) in Queens, NY. They would send us "care packages" of this wonderful halvah all the time. I tried other brands here on Amazon, but they were dry, with a weird after-taste. I should have ordered this brand (Joyva) from the start. I guarantee that if you enjoy halvah, you will LOVE this !!! I will be ordering additional cans in a few days, because the one that came today won't last long. Yummy !!!

Best Halvah
best brand for Halvah. Some say there's oil in the can -the ingredients cause the oil - take it out of the can. Pop the top and use a can opener for the bottom. Have it fall on paper towel, wrap it in paper towel and then cover with cellophane Put in fridge. The oil is absorbed into the paper towel. cut off pieces to eat and place back in the paper towel. Stays yummy and fresh without the oil.

My father brought this home when I was a kid in N.Y.. I'm glad I tried it again: soft, moist, and a delicious sweet sesame flavor.

My Favorite Childhood Treat!
Tastes just as I remembered from my childhood. It's what I expect halvah to taste like. The can I got was dented and the plastic lid was cracked, yet the halvah is still moist. My biggest complaint is that I'm only seeing the chocolate marbling at the top. After I ate that off, the rest appears to be just vanilla. It doesn't make that much difference, though, because it still tastes good.

Excellent halva
I hadn't purchased this brand for a while. I forgot how much I liked it. The only problem is that it's going fast and I'm going to have to reorder it soon.

Taste and texture
Very disappointed about this Halvah. Barely tasted like Halvah at all. It was very oily, the texture and appearance was like shredded something (don't know if you can have shredded seasame seeds). It was awful. Nothing like the joyva halvah I remember from when I was a kid.

Arrived in bundle of 2. Each can Sealed airtight with metal pulltab lid. Fresh and delicious!

Not what I expected
It's sweeter than other halvah I've had. It was supposed to be marble and the can was labeled such, but clearly was not. The texture was good.
