Blast from the Past
I grew up near NYC & could always get halvah when I craved it. West Coast not so much. Glad to say this is the same product as I remember it & dang good. Note: it doesn't have distinct marbling but you get the authentic vanilla + chocolate flavor.

My Favorite Childhood Treat!
Tastes just as I remembered from my childhood. It's what I expect halvah to taste like. The can I got was dented and the plastic lid was cracked, yet the halvah is still moist. My biggest complaint is that I'm only seeing the chocolate marbling at the top. After I ate that off, the rest appears to be just vanilla. It doesn't make that much difference, though, because it still tastes good.

Even though it’s expensive
It was well worth it. Brings me back to my childhood. My dad loved his halava and I always stole some because I loved it so much. Great size, consistency, taste and texture and not too sweet!

Joyva Halvah
I have purchased joyva Halvah all my life. I used to buy it from the deli at my own Frank store in downtown Portland and it was always so fresh. Now the only way we can buy it is canned and who knows how long it’s sat on the shelf. I just got my order today, open the can and it was so dry it just crumbled. This is the worst one I’ve ever had.

Dry. Oily. Bitter. NOT a good product.
