Although these are listed as cargo shorts, they are a strange style for cargos. I'm not complaining, but the additional pockets are oddly placed, meaning that they run a little bit high up on the leg rather than your traditional cargo shorts. And there's only one pocket in the back. But they fit good and they're stretchy and haven't fallen apart yet, which is nice. Despite these oddities, I think they're nice shorts and I would buy them again/would recommend buying them.

So I said fit as expected Above .....but I had heard to get 38 to fit 36 and they are perfect....I don’t like the belt unless you could cut it to size....if you can Do that I have not figured it out yet....also I have a pair I got in 2013 which is shorter and a different material....they are the reason I looked for these....these are longer but I’m okay with the feel and I use them for the Jet Ski because they dry well and I can jump off down town and walk in a restaurant....so 4 stars ⭐️

I would have given at 5 stars but don't like the polyester pants as much as my nylon ones. That's just personal preference, however.They don't wrinkle as much as the nylon ones and don't feel quite as rugged so if you like polyester these would be the pants for you. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the product that was delivered to me.

Size chart said 'size 32', for a 34" waist. Nope! Way too small at the waist, and the legs are super narrow as well. Would not make good hiking/backpacking pants. Returned.

The quality of these shorts looked very good, and the pockets seemed nicely designed. However, I ordered and wear a size 32 and these were huge around the waist, although the cut around the butt was right. Somebody with a waist size of 34 or even 36 could have worn these. 4 stars, because the quality seemed good, but the sizing was way off.

Polyester fabric. Not very thick but it seems durable. Nice that the back pockets zip, but they are too small to hold my wallet. Not bad enough to return, but I wouldn't buy them again

Longer than I like but they are ok. Draw strings at bottom kinda annoying. Button hole is all frayed around slit so button gets caught on threads. Same on all 3 pairs I bought.

I'm not super short (5'9") but these fit like surf shorts. Literally 4 inches below my knees. Way too long to hike in. Very disappointed in the fit.
