YoyoFactory DV888 Metal Yo-Yo - Red (beginner friendly yoyo, spare string and tips included)

It is a responsive yo yo that can be made non responsive. As a beginner, it is really easy to use... now that I am getting used to it and getting better... the more that i like it.

Great yoyo for the money, but there is an issue with the bearing after a few days. its great and unresponsive from the box, but after a few days, the bearing starts slowing down, making the yoyo extremely responsive. I tried cleaning the bearings, running little lubricant as possible, even tried running it dry, removed the shields, everything. I was not able to get the bearing to become unresponsive again. I ended up purchasing a concave bearing from my local shop for less than $15, and the problem was solved. Another issue i had is the overall shape of the yoyo. the flat surface near the lip makes it harder to land the yoyo on a specific string, but im sure more experience players can overcome this design. other than that, this yoyo is a great buy. just be sure to upgrade the bearing, otherwise i would have loved to have given this yoyo 5/5 stars.

Best throw I own! Spins for a good 5 minutes. You get about a minute of fast play on a good throw. Perfect weight and size, feels great in your hand. Smooth as hell, and you can hold a palm grind for a good 8-10 seconds. Super non-responsive, you gotta try a few different strings and find the right one for this yoyo. Its not entry level, but its not quite an expert yoyo. It would make a good first metal for an intermediate player. And the best part is that you cant beat the price!!

ive had this yoyo for 2 years and its still really good. but if you pull it back too fast it can hurt your finger and its really heavy so the string gets really tight. its also made of a very hard metal. i have been lining up bottles and shooting them with this yoyo. you can bang it into stuff and it still wont stop spinning due to its weight. the yoyo is responsive. It has little rubber rings on the inside that catch the string if you give it slack, but if you remove them it can be un responsive

This yoyo is RESPONSIVE. In other comments and questions it is said to be Unresponsive.

This yoyo is fantastic! Right out of the box its spin time is great and very smooth. It was a tough decision between this and the dark magic II but I am very happy with this purchase. Beware!! It is much smaller what it appears to be. It is very simillar to the size of the yoyo factory whip for reference. Still great yoyo for the price!

The yoyo does not come back like it's supposed to. It also fell apart quite easily and the string is thick, yarn material. I wouldn't recommend this product.

The yoyo is great and I had a chance to see my grandson enjoy it. The four star is because of Amazon shipping. The packaging for shipping was flimsy and the yoyo packaging inside was bent all out of shape. I would have preferred to gift an item that looked brand new, but I also knew that it would not get any better, so I did not return this item

Bought it out of nostalgia. Worth the money. The yoyo is comparatively smaller in size than other yoyos. This is made for casual yoyo'ers. Due to its metal build, it's very durable but at the same time can be very painful after frequent use if usage is not correct. The only thing one can ask for its cost is adding more strings and thinner break pads(the rotations are significantly less with default thick break pads).

I bought this as an upgrade from the cheap yoyo I purchased from a toy shop. As I beginner I was in 2 minds whether to buy a metal yoyo and decided to go for it. I do think it was the wrong choice. The yoyo is very small and the return response is too sensitive. I sent this one back for a refund and bought the Yyf replay, and this is far better. Save yourself a couple of quid and buy the the replay, just check the reviews

Lovely Yo-yo, bought after my kids done a yo-yo week at school. Smaller thank expected but works great and spins a treat. Masted a good few tricks already to wow the kids.

Great yo-yo, much better than cheaper plastic versions. Spare string included.
