I bought this clock for my mum who was always moaning about not having a clock at the right time. I showed her how to get the time on the TV and that it is on the phone but she just likes to have a clock. This one ticked all the boxes, it has high contrast black and white so is easy to read, size wise it is big enough that she can see it from her seat. The icing on the cake is that it sets itself to the right time. I just put a battery in it and the hands moved round a rotation, then it sat for a few minutes then set itself to the correct time. My mum was delighted and asked why all clocks were not like this, I didn't have an easy answer other than saying cost, but to be honest it was not that much dearer. The clock was of a good construction, not too heavy that you need an anchor on the wall just a small screw and maybe a wall plug if you are in a hollow wall. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants a clock that is accurate and doesn't need the internet, one thing to point out is that it does tick but that is the nature of a second hand and it was not advertised as silent. Just something to consider if the ticking might bother you.

Super clock. Looks good. Only one problem. I wanted a clock with a tick. Most clocks are silent. From the reviews it seemed that this had a tick "Too loud for the bedroom" one said. Alas, my clock has no tick.

My clock arrived yesterday and I have to say that overall I am pleased with the quality look of it. It worked as you would hope straight from the box. Whilst it is smaller than the one I am replacing in the Kitchen, it is easy to read and the bonus is not having to change the time when the clocks go back and forth which is what prompted me to buy a R/C clock. I have deducted a star because the Chrome casing had damage on it when it arrived! The only question now is do I live with it or send it back for a replacement?! Oh and one final point for consideration, the second hand motion isn't sweeping, and it does make a ticking sound which may be an issue for some.

I bought the clock because of its clear numerals, simple but stylish appearance and, most of all the atomic clock accuracy. It only took about ten minutes to set itself to the correct time. The quartz clock that it replaced was 43 years old. I don't think I will ever find out if it lasts as long.

Brought for our kitchen after it was decorated which my husband choose but I liked once it was on the wall within a few minutes of my husband putting a battery in the clock set itself , the numbers are clear & easy to see without my specs on & looks a nice quality clock .

I buy bought clock to replace my old quartz clock which made an awfully loud and annoying tick tock sound especially at night. This one also does have a bit of ticking sound but no where near my old quartz clock. As a radio clock, it is pinpoint accurate to the second (checked with my phone's clock and BBC). Setup is also easy as all you do is pop in the AA battery and wait between 15 minutes to 24 hours as per the instructions. Although, mine set itself up within 5 minutes after I had put in the battery. The brushed aluminium finish makes the clock look attractive and expensive. My only fault with it is that the arms could have been silver instead of black. But that's just me being fussy.
