Great replacement part

Moog is known for quality suspension replacement parts, and this inner tie rod is no exception. Fits perfectly into my 1994 Ford Taurus GL to replace its worn out OEM inner tie rods. If you find your steering to have a bothersome "dead spot" while driving straight where the steering wheel turns more than it used to in order to get a turning response, and a "9 and 3" wheel check reveals movement, then a replacement inner tie rod may be in your vehicle's future. Great quality and genuine part from the looks. After reading tons of reviews I decided to give Moog a try. Had bad luck with Detroit ax suspension parts not lasting long. removal and installation can be done in driveway, with jack and stands. a few wrenches and most part stores have loaner tools for the job. A paint marker is also handy to mark the threads so alignment won't be too far off.

Product fit well. Seems like good quality. Time will tell. Would have been 5 stars but one package was missing the retaining rivet. I used the correct drill size (which was just slightly larger, 1/8) and drilled the hole where the rivet goes and tapped it for a 4mm set screw which worked perfectly. If you have to do this, test fit it on the car and mark the one you need to drill/tap so you can reach it when it's installed. To remove the old rivets, try to get something thin under the edges and pry in a circle around the center piece. If this is done correctly the outer piece should come off then you can grab the center section with pliers and pull it out. I used a small dab of blue thread locker on the set screw.

This will go for both sides on a 99-04 Mustang. You can rent the tool for this and not worry, all adapters are included. This part INSTANTLY corrected the random travel my Mustang used to do when it pleased lmao. The part is of quality build, fitment was identical and flawless, the instal was easy and I saved a lot of money buying from Amazon!$!$! Fast shipping, excelent quality! I will soon be purchasing again for the driver's side.

Bought two for a '95 Thunderbird. Brand was recommended to by a mechanic with decades of experience. Install was 5 stars because the rod itself did not give us an issue, but rather the threading on the rack. Tight, crisp steering and back on the road safely.

Half price of parts store. Took a while to get, but to be fair i was told that up front. Quality part
