Highest possible quality for the price. I was eyeballing a similar Starrett mic that was almost double the price but I'm glad I went with this Mitutoyo instead. It's as smooth as butter and works perfectly.

This is a very nice and high quality micrometer. It has consistent and repeatable readings and measures at .0001 inch intervals with the Vernier scale.

I hate buying stuff like this on amazon. Support a smaller business if you can, but if you need it short notice, it's genuine mitutoyo

I got this to use at work and it's been great. Extremely accurate and I would say it's on the same level as starret.

A precision measuring instrument thrown in a box with a tub of Goop with no internal packing material? Not cool.Mitutoyo micrometers are always reliable. These are not the most expensive, but still cost almost $100.The Mitutoyo packaging was intact, but I have no idea how much the impact of the tub of Goop slamming against the box may have had on the micrometers as far as long term accuracy and consistency.

Excellent high quality micrometer. 0-1” accurate and sturdy. Wish the lid of the box had a compartment to stash the paperwork in. Not a problem for me in the long run, I plan on storing this in a custom box with other measuring tools.
