Yet if the quality wasn't there, it's no different than the overseas junk. Fortunately this set is incredibly well made and accurate. I like that it has the thumb screw, which other sets on desertcart don't have. But the biggest headline is the accuracy. Personally, I'll be using them for setting up and maintaining machines around my home workshop (for woodworking and light metal work). So the tolerances might not be as demanding as other applications. But even if they were, this set would deliver. I checked about half the gauges with a highly accurate set of calipers, and every one I checked was bang on. The laser etched numbers are a little light. But, at least they're not stamped like I've seen on some other sets. Bottom line, this is an outstanding set! Review: USA made - I don't use feeler gauges very often. However, it does come up occasionally and this set was a good price while still being US made.
