After I've taken the artifical nails off (my nails we're kinda peeling) I put this stuff on my natural nails. By the nest day they we're already looking better. After a week even better. To me this is worth the money. It does help to strengthen them also.

Be careful when using in conjunction with Kerasal. This stuff works really well. Almost too well. It 100% removes cuticles, it DOES NOT remove the proximal nail fold which is SKIN. It removes the CUTICLE underneath the proximal nail fold. That is what the cuticle is, the dry flakey white part that sticks to your nail. I don’t paint my nails regularly but I do keep my nails tidy and manicured by pushing my proximal nail folds back every couple of days. I shape once a week or less. And about once a month or so I like to remove the cuticles stuck to my nail plate. They’re hard to see, like a shiny stripe around the base of my nail where it meets the proximal nail fold. I’ve been using Kerasal for cracked heels (popular w nail techs) on this one area of my middle finger that has gets really crusty and hard and the skin splits. It’s where I rest my writing utensil. So I’ve been trying to rehab it. I used this cuticle remover like I do once a month with a wood orange stick and it legit stripped the top layer of that one area of my middle finger’s nail plate right off, the area I’ve been putting a lot of Kerasal on to rehab - since it gets on the nail plate and is messy to use. So be warned: try not to get Kerasal on your nails just your proximal nail fold and DON’T follow up the next day with cuticle remover. Maybe only use a qtip to apply. Maybe give your nail a week in between the use of Kerasal then use the cuticle remover. Maybe don’t use the Kerasal at all. Kerasal has salicylic acid in it which exfoliates and loosens up and softens thick skin so it helps the hard bits of skin on my fingers.

So I initially got this because get gel nails done and then afterwards they are weird and brittle. I don't have splitting fingernails or anything like that just the brittleness that comes with pulling off fake nails. So initially before using this of course my nails looked rough (maybe you could tell that I had peeled off my nails) and basically chaulky or white on the top. This is typical of when you pull off the gel nails, because you are probably pulling some layers up at the same time. That being said, even with the first application I could see a huge difference. My nails looked normal, not perfect of course but more normal than they would have been without this stuff. It tells you to use it twice a day for 6 days. I want you to know that it doesn't probably fix everything, but it certainly fixed how terrible my nails were. It is an oil-like substance that is applied to the nail. It doesn't seem like it has much of an odor to it , but once I had it on my nails I smelled a little bit of a chemical smell to it. Definitely not overwhelming in the smell department and the serum seems to take less than a minute to soak into the nail. Overall I definitely like it and have already bought another one for my friend to see if she likes it too. I think this is worth it.

This is my go to for every use. Key is to apply let it set for about 1-2 minutes then push back cuticles. Works very well. Just Make sure you put the product sit.

Dries quick. Not messy. 1st hand was dry before I finished second hand. It did improve nails over the 6 days suggested, but don't expect a miracle
