MusicNomad MN200 All Purpose Non-Treated Flannel Polishing Cloth 11" x 15"

tiie AI bought the yellow, untreated.rag. Excellent product, big & soft. I tried 2 different types of polishing cloths made of microfiber. One set looks & feels liked ironed bed sheets (AA..... brand) with a weird sheen or something on it & very very thin, again, like a folded bed sheet. I knew might be a problem when each came individually wrapped... The second batch was the same as the first, but this set felt like a thin silk tie. Sadly not a joke. Neither will ever touch my guitars. Ever. Maybe I got a bad batch of these microfiber polishing cloths, but highly doubt it. So I looked around after finally wearing out all of my late or early 2000's polishing cloths, I found this Nomad rag/cloth It feels soft with enough basic thickness to actually polish or clean. It's not a plush or fluffer of any sort. It's a real, regular guitar rag, it polishes and cleans well, like what we all used back in the day. No idea I needed flannell, but they work well. Can't believe we have to be so careful picking up a damn guitar polishing cloth. But we live in very different times. Thank you Nomad!

I have been a professional guitar repairman since 1977. When the world started using microfiber polish cloths for guitars, I noticed that they we're never as absorbent as the old Ernie Ball polish cloths. Microfiber tended to load up and push the polish around. Ernie Ball polish cloths were the quiet gold standard and was available in every music store that was worth anything. They were a great untreated tufted cotton cloth that only got better with age. They required very little cleaning over it's life. I was soooo hoping these Music Nomad polish cloths were like that, but they just aren't. These are more like a "pulled flannel" than a tufted cotton, which may still be better than microfiber, and may work for you, just the disappointment in comparison to the old Ernie Ball cloths. D'addario, Dunlop Gibson, Fender and Herco still sell untreated cotton cloths, so I'll try those. : C

This is a typical guitar polish cloth. A good value for the money.

OK, so the first thing you need to know is that this is flannel, not microfiber. The second is that this is what I used along with Music Nomad's, "The Guitar One" which I just reviewed. The third is that I got this and that product from the same seller.The cloth is extremely soft, it feels nice and there are no seams. It can be hand or machine washed. On the down side it has a tendency to leave bits of itself all over the rough parts of your guitar like the frets. It also seemed to me that I had to buff a lot to get pick up fingerprints. But I took the time to go over the guitar in circular motions as instructed, and the end result was very good. The cloth worked equally well on the bridge, body, and fretboard.I think this is an excellent alternative to a more expensive microfiber cloth. It is perfect for buffing. You may want something else for cleaning, and I suggest you get something tougher for the rough parts of your guitar. Perhaps buying this and a microfiber cloth would be a good bet.

Perfect what your looking for! Its the real deal

This is the more all around cloth rather then specific cloth, good for almost everything and likely the one cloth by this company that washes and cleans up the best and easiest! Good for dirty or mild jobs and then easily cleanable! Would recommend for sure!
