Review: Wonderful sound without being too loud - 2008 Bullitt Mustang - I researched these things significantly. Even borrowed a set of Borla Atak from grandson and installed on my Bullitt. They were too loud for me although the sound was a good sound. These have a really good throaty sound in the 08 mustang V8. HOWEVER, for mine the rear bracket rod for driver side muffler was not in the correct position. It was a full PITA getting it bent and cut so that it would fit. And, even then, it is super close to the cushion of the rear bracket. The passenger side rear bracket rod was also not in the correct position but it was much easier to get bent and cut to fit correctly. Just be aware of that rear bracket issue, but it is worth it!!! Great throaty sound. Not too loud but loud enough to know you changed them!! That happens to be around 60 mph in fifth gear under load like going up a hill. ( I have the five speed ) Well, I think it sounds and feels similar to a Harley when you give it some throttle in high gear,not that bad. Its supposed to sound like a muscle car! Idle through 4th gear all sound great. Installation was easy, took about an hour, Just a heads up, there are 4 bolts on the passenger side brackets and 5 on the drivers side.
