I tried a lot of adapters and these are by far the best ones. Imagine you are in Australia and in your room you have a lamp plugged into an outlet, but you need the outlet to charge your laptop with your US charger... Not a problem, you install this adapter on the outlet, replug the lamp using the center socket of the adapter which is universal, and on the top of the adapter there is an extra US socket to plug your charger. Voila, you now have a charger and a lamp all working. The sockets (both of them) offer a solid physical connection with tight friction, so your charger won't fall off the socket. Really good adapters, the best ones.

Purchased these for a planned trip in January so haven't used them yet. However, they are well made and sturdy, and the ability to power two items makes them very practical and versatile. We used the OREI 2 in 1 USA-UK adapters from the same company (Bombay Electronics) a few months ago and they performed perfectly. These are exactly the same high quality (just different prongs of course) so we have no worries about the USA-AUS/China version. Highly recommend these as well-made, reliable, reasonably priced adapters.

Good quality and works well in Australia. The only issue and the reason for four stars and not five is one of the four adapters was wrong model. The product should have a two outlets. The front one has a ground and the bottom just hot and neutral. This is great as it turns one outlet into two. One of the four included adapters though lacks the bottom outlet. It also has a name on it, without looking, I think Tessco. The others do not.

I purchased these adapters for a trip to Argentina and they worked flawlessly. I have several Types of the OREI adapter and they are very reliable. The reason I keep buying this style is that each adapter has two outlets so I'm able to plug in twice as much as one of those universal block adapters.

I needed an adapter for my trip to Sydney, Australia. I didn't realize it until 2 days prior to my trip. I ordered 2 adapters so I would have a backup. I never needed the backup. I used Amazon Prime as my delivery option, and the adapters arrived on the afternoon of my trip. Perfect timing. I can confidently HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Worked great in Australie. No need to spend more I gave one to each kid and one to each adult. To use or lose. The outside portion appears pretty universal (not just US). We spent two full weeks in Australia and they worked fine. Offhand I'd rust these for much longer trips. I otherwise reccommend bringing spares as you'll probably lose one. Indeed I tossed "mine" last minute into my son's suitcase ... and never saw it again .. as he packs "dump and squish" style. I ended up taking pliers to a US lamp extension cord ... and with nail file on the wide blade ...made a substitute. So pack a spare.

We used these adapters during a recent trip to Australia and New Zealand, and they worked flawlessly in both countries. They are well constructed to fit both the Australia or New Zealand outlet and they grip the US plug properly so it does not fall out, They are quite reasonably priced compared with some I have seen. Having two adapters was handy to accommodate his and her devices. Tip: I also travel with a couple of US 6 ft extension cords, with the big prong filed down to fit the non-polarized US-style outlets found in some countries. This is handy for hotels where the outlet is not conveniently located, which seems happens quite often, both here and abroad.
