I read the other reviews about it taking ages to cut through etc. I wanted to cut a hole through a single brick porch for an air vent, so thought this would do the job. It took 2 hours.I was using a proper drill and had water being sprayed on it to keep it cool etc. I went in about half an inch on the inside then finished the cut externally. Had to use a hammer and chisel to break through in the middle as it just wouldn't get through the last bit without snagging and kicking the clutch.Remember, this was only a single brick wall and I was proper knackered after.In the end I have a nice neat hole, but wish I'd paid a bit more to get a diamond cutter even if I probably won't use it again.Not really sure if I can say this is fit for purpose or recommend it...

Brilliant bit of kit ..done the job easy..it went through brick outer and concrete block inside ...no trouble at all ..and the tool is still unmarked. This coment is NOT bull shit...if you need to put a vent through a wall then buy this .

Rubbish ! used it to cut a hole in my single skin brick garage for a tumble dryer vent, after 5 mins of drilling it had only marked the so I resolved to drilling multiply small holes to create a circle and then used it again to finish off the job which it did but not without a fight ! The teeth are now worn down after one use so will either throw it away or lend it to someone I dislike ! (Reused someone else’s review as it is exactly how I also feel! Rubbish!) one star is minimum you can give it but I wouldn’t give it that!

Coped easily with a London Tudor brick and cement block wall.

Good quality. Easy to use. I sprayed it with water to stop from over heating whilst drilling. Very pleased with my purchase. Right size for the job. Would recommend.

used this to cut through breeze block for tumble drier outlet, only one hole but did it with ease. feel sure it would cope with brick just as well.
