Stronghold’s Earl Sword is a medium sword inspired by Celtic designs. The sword is 76 cm long and has a 57 cm double-edged blade with a central ridge. The detailed handle--with its Celtic inspired cross guard and pommel--features a hand painted finish that looks like faded bronze. The 10 cm grip is cast and painted to look like cherry wood, ergonomically shaped to fit the hand. Stronghold weapons are foam weapons designed for tough combat at LARPs. They require no maintenance, unlike latex weapons, and feature detailed polyurethane handles. This Stronghold blade is crafted using a unique Epic Foam that weighs the same as latex without requiring the constant upkeep. Additionally, the blade tip is stab-proof thanks to our new innovative construction. Lightweight and shaped with a realistic and cushioned edge, this weapon is designed to be safe--leaving your friends unbruised and unbroken! Earl Sword - 75 cm Review: Solid build and great value - It's fantastic and feels like a solid build. However I have my doubts whether it's larp safe. Maybe in a high contact larp where it's okay for blows struck to hurt a little. It's very hard for something deem d "larp safe" also I really don't think it's stab safe as the core is about 2 inches from the tip and it's prone to bending straight down to the tip. So if you use this be gentle and don't stab anyone. Still a great product though but the latex variants are just softer and safet
