Woody's Daily Shampoo & Conditioner for Men, Cleanses and Moisturizes, For Normal to Oily Hair, 12-ounce

Not for me! If you have extremely oily hair this might work for you but it dried my hair out like crazy...Kinda felt like I was using Neutrogena Acne Face wash on hair. The scent is ok, nothing special but like a normal soap. The only way for me to get a decent lather was to use more shampoo than anyone needs at one time. The conditioner was ok but the same goes for using the shampoo, had to use more than necessary to cover my hair. The conditioner scent is a strong menthol smell. I wanted to stop after the first use but wanted to give it a fair chance but no luck.very disappointed in this purchase...

I've bought the Woody's combo shampoo & conditioner four times now from Amazon. The first and fourth time the shampoo was more of a gel and the conditioner thicker as well. The smell of both much more fragrant (nicer). Also, on delivery, the two bottles had red tape across the caps. The second and third order the shampoo and conditioner was much more 'watery' as if they had been diluted or FAKES. Fragrance was not as strong either. No red tape over caps. I thought it strange after the second order but it wasn't terrible. Only after the fourth order was I convinced the two previous orders were not the quality products from Woody's. Genuine Woody's products are great. Make sure you get the good stuff!

Looks like they’ve started watering down the shampoo! I have been using this brand for years and was happy. This past week I received a new bottle and the shampoo is a watery mess. I returned for a replacement thinking it may have been a bad batch. Received the same thing again today and I will return this one as well. Moving onto a different brand after several years of a great product. Such a shame. Try something else.

I was a little worried when I saw some of these reviews, but I disagree with those negative ones. The shampoo lathers up really well and doesn’t have an overpowering scent like some described. I think it’s just about right. Leaves my hair feeling clean and it doesn’t take long to rinse out. The conditioner is great too! The peppermint and tea tree oil in the conditioner give a cooling/tingling sensation which goes away after a couple minutes. Personally, I think it’s really refreshing. I used to pay for overpriced “designer” brands at $40+ per bottle. This is a great value and I think I’ll be switching permanently.

Update: 12/3/2019This shampoo is just not very good. It has dried my hair out and the conditioner leaves a build up. It was watered down from the factory and I was hoping that it was just the formula. It seems the product just does not perform very well.July 17th, 2019The shampoo and conditioner smells fine, but the shampoo is very thin. It seems like it has been watered down. It is not much thicker than water. There was no security seal under the cap of either the shampoo or conditioner. Seems like Woodys might be trying to skimp people by watering the shampoo down.

I have thick, pompadour style hair. I thought I'd give this shampoo and conditioner a try since i saw it reviewed well on different websites. The shampoo smells fine in the bottle but once i put it on my hair it didn't lather well. Not much of a cleaning "sensation" for me, either. The conditioner has a strong, medicine smell, almost like Nyquil. I tried both of these products together two times, both times my hair felt "flat". I'm not positive but i think it has something to do with my hair type. Again, my hair is thick and wavy but not long so i feel like it just wasn't meant for my hair.

The shampoo and conditioner is excellent. I originally purchased this but did not open the item until I did more research. I then compared it with a shampoo/conditioner which I purchased via a large retail chain. One day I washed and conditioned my hair with shampoo and conditioner with the product from the large retail chain. The following day I washed and conditioned my hair with Woodys Quality Groom for Men, Daily Shampoo and Conditioner - there is no comparison. My hair was not dried. It did not frizz, etc. I have very curly think hair. Most women with curly hair can confirm what the heat and humidity does to curly hair. My hair was not affected. I will continue to use the product.

Poor quality product. The shampoo smells like gas station bathroom soap. Might work for shorter hair but leaves longer hair feeling like cheap hotel shampoo and conditioner. The conditioner smells better and is really tingly which is nice but left scalp dry and irritated. Seemed to get worse with use.Would not recommend. Much better products at this price range.
