Maybe it was because she was on her feet walking from dusk to dawn and was simply not made for such intensive play or she had some inborn defect directly from kitty mill. The story had a happy ending though. After wiping my child's tears and some research on internet for a better quality but similar toy, I was happy to make my way to the store and return this kitten from hell and purchase a Furreal Lulu instead. It doe not shut up. It meows every other second, not kidding. There is no way to turn it off or turn it down. The only option is to turn the toy completely off, but then it won't walk. My 2 year old daughter likes it, but I don't know how long I can take it. It's just so repetitive and LOUD besides.
