Be aware that this is a pipe thread, not a hose thread. An adapter will be needed to attach to a hose. I have to keep checking the screw holding the screen in place because it keeps coming loose and needs periodic tightening. I don't use this in a permanent application, but if you intend to do so, I recommend using some kind of screw locking adhesive or checking it every now and then to make sure the screw doesn't come out causing the screen to fall off. Other than those issues, it works as expected.
