If they fit right, they're definitely worth the price.
Wow. I just looked and the price went up to $129. I paid $78 and I thought that was high. But just keep an eye on them, the price fluctuates a lot.I really want to help people decide whether to get these jeans or not. I pore over the reviews first, and at this price, as much info as possible helps. :)Here goes... I'm 5'7" about 135 lbs. with a long torso and a thick waist. I literally have no bum, thanks to a recent surgery, so I pretty much live in leggings with long shirts. I used to live in jeans (Calvin Klein-always fit perfect) and now the material just hangs there. Bummer! Anyway, a friend told me to try NYDJ as everyone she knows loves them. I decided on the Marilyn, because I like a straight leg. I chose the Lombard shade, because I like a medium shade of blue that has a grayish, acid-washed tint. This shade also has whiskering. I have to say, I LOVE this shade! I ordered a size 8 after reading the company's advice and most of the reviews. They are right. DEFINITELY go down a size from your normal one. I usually wear an 8 or 10. I thought about going down to a 6, and if I wanted them tight and form-fitting, I probably could have, but I like my clothes loose-fitting. That being said, the 8 was a little more loose than I like. I almost needed a belt, which with my thick waist, I almost never do. The fabric is a thicker, heavier jean material than I like. They also are kind of stiff. They probably would get softer with washing and wear. I don't think they would shrink, even putting them in the dryer, due to the stretch of the material. The length was just a tad long, probably a 32", but I was barefoot. They probably would be fine with a small heel. I have to admit I really liked them. They checked off all the boxes.EXCEPT... remember my lack of bum to fill it out. I SO wanted them to work. But realistically, at that price, I just couldn't keep them. I'm probably stuck with leggings and long shirts for the rest of my life.SO... if you can get past the price, I think most women would love these. The fit is flattering to most figures. They're casual, yet you could easily add a nice blouse and heels or boots, to dress them up. Don't forget these are straight-leg, not skinny or bootcut. There are a lot of shades/washes to choose from. AND DEFINITELY SIZE DOWN!I hope this review can help you make up your mind. Cheers!

Worth the trouble to hem them!
These jeans, sized down as the manufacturer recommends, are the absolute best jeans I have ever worn! My first pair of NYDJ jeans and they will be my go-to from now on. I have a pear-shaped body, with a small frame and am 5'4"-borderline petit. Normally I am a size 4, but I got a 2 in these and the fit was perfect except that they were too long; I had to take 4 1/2" off of the length. The fabric is so comfortable, with just the right weight for the warm climate where I live, and just the right amount of stretch to be comfortable. Jeans are very personal, and every body is different, but I am in love. The dark tonal wash is really a blue, but a very dressy dark blue. And the pockets with the extra detailing really make them stand out more than a typical pair of jeans. For me, it was totally worth the trouble to hem them!

Too big in the hips for me.
These are soft, beautiful jeans and of good quality. I sized down as many reviewers suggested These (Marilyn) jeans hold your tummy in without feeling like that's what they're doing!! They fit me beautifully at the waist and in the legs, but there was too much leftover fabric at the hip joints. ( I have an apple shaped body.) These would be great for someone a little bigger through the hips than I am! Regretfully, I will be returning them... Wah!!

Great Fitting Jeans
I have a couple pair of this brand in white so decided to try some in denim. I bought a Size 12 that are comfortable but a size 10 might have fit a bit better. The denim has stretch and the blue is a good color. I would buy them again.

What is with these pockets?
I love NYDJ jeans and have worn them for years. They're super comfortable, shape flattering, and hold up very well. I was ready for a new pair and ordered these without a second thought. When they arrived I tried them on right away, they fit perfectly and I put them away. I finally decided to wear them yesterday and when I put them on, once again I was very pleased with the fit. However, for the first time I put my hands in my front pockets. Or, at least I tried to put my hands in my front pockets. They are so tiny that a tube of lipstick would not fit in there. What the heck were they thinking when they designed this particular style? I should add these are regular full length jeans, nothing fancy, not capris or leggings, etc. Unfortunately for me, I was so used to getting these jeans and loving them I never thought to try the pockets. By the time I decided to actually wear them I missed my return window by about two weeks (my last day to return them was March 14). So now I am stuck with jeans that I can't even stuff a tissue into the front pocket. I'm sure I'll persevere and there are certainly worse things that could happen to a person, but it's just another annoyance to put up with when you expect better.

The best jeans I’ve ever owned.
I bought a pair at goodwill in size 12 and I loved the way they made my figure look but they were a little large. I saw that the recommendation was to size down so I ordered the size 10. They fit so perfectly. They are so flattering and just lift my mood to put these on. It is the softest denim I’ve ever worn and there is just the right amount of stretch. They are so comfy.

Classy Jeans
Initially I ordered size 4 which happens to be one size down from what I normally wear. They were too big, especially at the waste and butt. I reorderrd the black jeans in size 2 and they fit perfectly. The x panel is not noticable and light weight. The fabric Is slightly heavier than your usual cotton denim. My suggestion is disregard the suggested size notice and buy the next size down. They're worth it.

these jeans are comfortable and complimentary on. they are almost always reliable to sizing. they do not seem to lose their shape very much by the end of the day.

Son exelentes, cómodos, vestidores, pero si tienes que tener mucho cuidado de secarlos en lo más bajo de la secadora.
