As advertised
Does what it says. This one gives a nice ¼" or so border on my 13.3" screen (Acer Spin 5). Here's some tips for a frustration-free install:1. Dust is the most likely point of failure. If you need a cheap DIY dust-free environment, close your bathroom door with the shower on hot for a few minutes. As long as the screen isn't cold enough to cause instant condensation, you'll be free of dust in there long enough to get the job done.2. Use at least 2 of the provided stickers to anchor one side before peeling either side off.3. Work quickly but methodically, so know the next step before you get to it.

COOSKIN makes the best anti-glare protectors. Have bought two.
COOSKIN makes the BEST anti-glare screen protectors. I have bought two of these for two different computers. Yes, they take about 15 minutes to install and a lot of patience - all screen protectors do. It's not easy. Not everyone can do it. But if you really take the time and be careful you can install it and these work GREAT. I used to get headaches from screen glare and this helped so much. Does it make it a little blurry, well I wouldn't say "blurry" but yes, it changes the look - that's what anti-glare has to do.If you have never installed a screen protector then I suggest you order 2 or 3 as it takes some getting used to. But now I can install them the first time every time, but I've put them on about 10 phones, tablets and computers. Cooskin is by far the best, comes with everything you need - even a little sample piece so you can get used to the process. In short, you clean the screen REALLY WELL with the supplied alcohol pad. Then, wipe it clean and lint free with supplied fabric. Then, take the little blue positioning stickers and stick them on the top side, by the #2 sticker so you have more areas to hold onto without touching the sticky side. Next, remove the coating on one side (it is labled #1) to reveal the sticky. Starting at one long edge of your screen put it in place, carefully smoothing it out with the credit card like burnishing tool they give you. If you get a bubble pull back a bit and go again. If you get lint you use the little blue sticker to pull the lint off the STICKY side (push sticker stickey to screen protector sticky and it grabs the lint). Keep doing this, slowly, until you are done. When I'm done there may be one or two very small bubbles or lint, but the glare protection usually makes them unnoticeable once you turn on the computer. This one fit my 14 inch HP perfectly. I just bought another for my 15.6 inch Dell and it was great too. Love them! Those negative reviews are people who don't know how to really take their time and do it right. If you aren't technically inclined then ask a technical friend to do it, because it is not easy, but the result has totally taken away my screen glare headaches (I work on the PC 10 hours a day, so it was an issue). Good luck!

If you want cheap and old junk that doesn't work...
What a piece of junk. Do not buy this screen protector!First, it was covered in scratches even though it came new in package.Second, the cleaning kit was old and dried. It made my screen dirtier.Third, the sticker that it came with to pick up lint left adhesive all over my screen.Fourth, the screen protector was more thin than my will to live(and that is saying a lot), it folded in on itself because of the static that removing the plastic backing caused.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!

Impossible to get the bubbles out!
If you have a brand new screen and access to a microprocessor factory's clean room, you MIGHT be able to apply this damn thing without trapping air bubbles. Even if you're able to remove every speck of dust, the SLIGHTEST ding or scratch on your screen will trap a bubble. And since the film adheres to the screen by static, that same static charge will attract every pollen spore and speck of dust in a matter of 5 seconds while you're trying to line the thing up. I've applied dozens of screen protectors successfully, so I thought I could handle this one, and I was tempted by the low price. I guess rigid glass is the only way to go.

Can reduce reflection, but also reduce clarity a lot
Have a high expectation for this product given its high rating. But after applied to my screen, it is a little disappointing.I have a razer blade QHD 14 laptop, which has a mirror-like screen, so I am looking for a screen protector to reduce the reflection light. After applied the screen protector, it is true that the reflection has been reduced a lot, but the clarity has also been impacted a lot.The protector is a matte surface, meaning it can reduce strong reflection light, but this matte surface also diffuses the output light from the screen creating strange effects. For example, if you look at a pure white screen, it is easy to feel the screen contains a lot of tiny color patterns, see my attached pictures. The first picture is a zoom-in of my screen after using the screen protector. The second picture is a photo of a dell ultrasharp monitor without any screen protector. It is very clear to see the second is very pure color and the first has many tiny color patterns caused by the protector. In a note in the product packaging (see photo), is says "This model is Matte surface. It can reduce 30% glare, It has no Anti-reflective function, And it may reduce clarity." This note is very important but it is not present in the description of this product. If I know this I would not purchase it.

Good quality, effective and easy to put on
My laptop screen makes my eyes hurt so bad that I get a headache and I feel nauseous. The glare is just awful. My desktop computer has a matte screen that never hurts my eyes. I know that a screen protector won't be exactly the same, but I wanted to try. I'm very happy with this!! I've always had a screen protector on my phone, and they can be a real pain to put on. I was expecting the same, if not worse for this. It was easy and went on without any bubbles!! The glare is greatly reduced and I can be on it for longer without my eyes hurting so much. Very satisfied.
