This solution and the instructions that came with it are very clear and works top notch if you fallow instruction carefully. Gold silver nickel all worked perfect. Copper works well if you don’t over soak the copper.

The narrow purpose, in my opinion, would be to use on coins you never intend to send in for grading. I was curious enough to try this so I got some junk silver. It does take some of the grime off, it does retain the patina, and in some cases it does brighten the coin somewhat. In a video I watched I saw that the man demonstrating its use said he would apply it to coins before sending in for grading. After having used it, I would personally NOT do that. It does leave some residue and most importantly, using it according to the instructions, it does seem to reduce the luster.

This stuff really doesn’t clean off anything beyond dust and dirt. It is useless for sea corrosion on coins and many still have dirt stains after. I found this product is best used as a simple way to remove either dust or some minor plastic residue but that’s it. If you are worried about removed tarnish from silver coins then this did not do that so that worked ok.

I tried to clean several pennies and nickels. Does not seem to work at all. will not recommend this product to anyone.

This coin cleaner works well for me. I tried it on some test coins before using it on antique coins. It removes contamination and green oxide on copper coins very well without changing the tone of the coins Work well for silver and gold coins too.

Conserv arrived quickly and thoughtfully packaged! This coin cleaner works very well to help shine coins you are collecting or coins that are just covered in crud. After following the instructions, Conserv performed significantly superior in loosening dirt not part of the patina. It's simple to use and normally only takes one application of the cleaner. The cleanup process is simple and the results are outstanding. I will definitely purchase more; great product!

It cleans the coin without ruining it. Don’t get it on your, it stains so you have to get it out of clothing right away. At least that what mine did.

It doesn’t actually clean my coins collection as I expected to be even if I soak it for days and used cotton swab or cloth. I’m not happy with this product.
